Today I had the pleasure of watching yet another ship roll out of the drydocks at Dijon, but this was not just any ship, today I watched the launch of the Gunboat class vessel christened the RNS "Acre".

She is truely a sight to behold, and no doubt is going to serve Gallia well. Tomorrow we shal procees with stress-testing her and taking her for her first combat mission on active duty. I await with great anticipation the victories she will no doubt bring in the coming war.
Her crew compliments are thus:
3 Senior officers, including the Capitaine,
1 Navigational Officer,
2 Gunnery Sergeants,
8 Gunners (each appointed to a specific turret),
1 Engineering officer,
1 Engineering apprentice (temporary),
1 Munitions Officer,
1 Marine Sergeant of His Majesties 1st Royal Burgandinian Regiment,
10 Marines of His Majesties 1st Royal Burgandinian Regiment,
The crew are mostly fresh recruits from the system of Burgundy, with the notable exception of Engineering Officer Renaud, who is nearing retirement age. They have been through rigorous training and drilling aboard the Battleship Beauvrey for the past three months and are fit and ready for active duty.
