So yes, without the exact context of the situation in the topic starters post, its impossible to know if it was overcharging or not and it seems just like another 'OMG! I haz kill pirate Gunship in mah tansport!!' gloating.
Here we are yet again.
A Pirate who wants his victim to sit quietly and take their medicine like a good Trader right from the start and then put their demand up if the Trader doesn't RP properly.
Running is what a Trader is going to try and do, it's your job to make them stop, if the Trader doesn't try to run then they aren't being serious about it. If you think about it, it is almost NOT RP to not try to run.
If you try to stop me, the reaction you are going to get is going to be, as you put it, "What do you want?" while I'm hammering the cruise key.
This is in character for a Trader or it is for MY Trader.
If a Trader is stopped by a Pirate, they are going to try and get away. They will be grumpy about being knocked out of cruise/trade lane, so they are going to be abrupt with their language.
Time = Credits to a Trader, especially if they have 'perishables' aboard.
I'm not saying your rules aren't good.... for you, but they won't be rules that a lot of Traders are going to want to follow.
I *may* kill my engines, but there is a pretty good chance I will have been under thrusters, so even if I stop, I will have some 'drift' happening.
Don't get uptight about the fact that I'm drifting, just be happy that I'm not actively maneuvering to place you under all of my guns at the same time.
