GMG shantar maru exploration team.
Under the command of captain Hideki Yamamoto.

navigational log 003, system Omicron theta.

OK I'm gonna make this as brief as possible.
the reason being that we are being perused by a number of hostile forces, and are currently hiding in the theta asteroid field.
OK we arrived in omicron theta and found our selves in a gassy asteroid field.
we set off west to find open space and a distant base.

we set headed in that direction.
when we arrived at the base they were kind enough to provide us with the location of a nearby jump hole.
we quickly set off for the jump hole.
when we arrived at the jump hole we found a bounty hunter chasing a corsair.
we offered the hunter help but he refused, so we headed by into open space to see a large station in the distance.
when we got closer we noticed it was a freeport,

We then moved into scanner range and requested the location of a few jump holes.
which they happily complied.
the gave us the location of 3 jump holes a planet and 2 wrecked ships.
we headed for the closest one,

and then we set off for the next one which was located in another gas cloud with huge weird looking rocks.
we quickly found the jump hole to omicron gamma.

At that point i really wanted to get out of that asteroid field because i was so creepy.
when we got into open space we could heard the corsairs radio signal, and they didn't sound to happy that we trespassed near there jump hole.
we then headed for the nearest gas field to find a wrecked ship,

and when we set back out we almost collided with planet Vespus.
i then ordered my crew to quickly send in a probe.
when the read out came back we headed out as fast as we could.

while we were in the gas field we found the Omicron Eta jump hole,

as we were leaving the corsairs figured out were our location was and started heading out way.
we set course for the asteroid field we arrived in to find a corsair sitting at the sigma 17 jump hole.
our scan range was much larger than his so we sat and waited for him to leave.
i decided in the meantime i would create this log.
First Mate: Captain Hideki, the corsair has finally left the jump hole.
Hideki: OK ill just upload this map and we can get out of here.
