[ The stories below are the recolections of a conflict that took place in game over two years ago. I dont know what the "star date" would have been, forgive me. Also you must forgive the non-rp introduction, but I have been away from discovery for quite a long time, and feel some very brief explanation before I begin. This story will come in chapters, as there is a lot to tell. I have not yet made contact with most of my old friends from that time, though there are still some familiar faces that could contribute if they wish. If any veterans of this conflict would like to contribute to this story, please PM me so we may discuss details. It is an attempt to chronicle one of the best conflicts I ever took part in...and is part of the history of this universe. Thanks to our host as I found an enormous wealth of information about this conflict in the archives, being able to reference them heavily made this story possible. I begin my story just before the conflict of title, and I hope you enjoy it.]



It all started when we attacked the New York System. The first step begin to begin one of the bloodiest wars in Bretonian history, was taken against one of our most unlikely of enemies.

The Molly Dreadnaught Hyperion raced by planet Los Angeles towards the NY jumpgate. In formation along side her where nearly two dozen pirate vessels of various origin. A smile creased my lips as we lit up our combat radars, letting the enemy know we where here. The Liberty Rogue's had been right, and we managed to get in system undetected. We killed our jump drives just before the gate, and began to assemble into combat formation. So far so good, Liberty Naval Command had no idea what was about to hit them.

In mere seconds serenity turned to horror as on of the largest pirate raids in NY history began. The Liberty Rogues has been the one responsible for it all... coming under constant attack by the Liberty Navy, a desperate distress call was issued to any and all pirate's in the area. No one could have imagined the response.

The small armada had assembled near Mactan Base, all of them responding to the call of thier fellow pirates. Most did not care for the cause of the Rogues, some did. The odd alliance of outlaws and ruffians came together for one cause. Blood.

The Hyperion, a massive constuction of Outcast origin and pride of the Molly fleet, would provide the sledge hammer as we began our raid on the heart of Liberties Naval power. As she punched through the jumpgate, her massive cannon's blinded me as her weapon systems came online. Furious blast of light and heat shattered the serenity of the system as pirates poured through the gate.

No-one knew what to do, the Liberty Navy faltered at the quickness and speed of Pirate attack. As soon as the pirates jumped in, we began cutting our way through the system. Liberty naval forces, Led by their own flagship, mustered the best defense it could, but was suffering horendous casualties....
