All things considered, the Spatial is not a very good investment. It shines in very particular situations, but those are very few and far between. Really not a good ship to have for everyday flying around.
If you plan on upholding the peace in Kusari, I do suggest the Chimera. I've never flown it, but most people do say it's a good ship. Kusari guns are also very good on it. I would put this on it, if you plan on a Chimera:
If you like missiles or torpedos or what have you, well, I can't help you there, but the above is a very conservative loadout which really has never steered me wrong on any ship. With those guns, you'll never really run out of energy, and can play chase for a long time. Cool thing about the Chimera, though, is that it can afford to take some hits, which means that you can always Engine Kill and turn to face the faster opponents, too.
Cruise Disruptors like the Mosquito are always helpful against explosives, mainly because they can be used to destroy mines and projectiles before they reach you, and often in someone else's face, damaging him instead of you. And, well, Nuke mines as a rule of thumb for a VHF, really. You can always break shields with guns, so, you don't need Screamers and you won't kill yourself with Nuke mines, so you don't need Rippers.
And, well, that's a wall of text for you. Hope it helps as much to be worth the time taken to read it!
