First let us take a walk through Yakuza's history. From the very start the goal of this Faction was to Role-Play the darker side of Hogosha, to its fullest. Whatever the BDS would count as criminal activity, we would do that but with twice the intensity.
We got complained at for being PvP-whoring griefers who ganked and committed what we define as "raids". Usually in Hokkaido and Tau-23 territory.
I took these complaints very seriously and so I created this thread:
That way I could pinpoint what the majority considered was bad behavior. I concluded that thread by setting up certain guidelines.
Two of them being to never enter Tau-23 or Hokkaido to give both the IMG/CR and the Golden Chrysanthemums breathing space. The only exception would be during a chase with a trader.
As things progressed we got tremendous amount of support and various kudos from significant figures of the Kusari community. We have now formed a strong bond with the Black Dragon Society and together we have created the Hogosha Council. This was only possible on our end because I made sure that the first and foremost priority would always be Role-Play.
During this period of time, we stumbled upon the Colonial Remnants inside Kusari on several occasions. Two of those occasions resulted in a battle. The first incident happened in Kyushu - Yakuza demanded a few ICMG vessels to hand over a small "donation". The Colonial Remnants arrived with several Fighters and one Gunboat to attack us.
The second battle was of similar nature in New Tokyo. (Pirating --> Battle).
Other encounters with the Colonial Remnants, (note: still in Kusari) was met with in-character insults. Most of these insults I found personally funny and very creative but - they were still insults towards my character. Example: "Slant eye Hogosha rat." Said by a CR escorting an ICMG trading vessel bound for the Honshu Jump Gate.
All these things built up in-Role-Play anger and hatred towards the Colonial Remnants. So one day I decide to assemble a strike team to enter Tau-23 with the sole purpose to strike at the Colonial Remnants.
Let's call it: In-Role-Play revenge. "Teach them a lesson not to make fun of us." kind of thing.
This is the answer to your "Why you attack us"?
And remember, on any "regular Yakuza time" every member of my Faction is forbidden to enter Tau-23. Because I want to give the Colonial Remnants, our newest hostile, some breathing space. They are already busy with the Outcasts. Fortunately when I made my one-timer strike only a single Outcast was there. Who we attacked as well.

' Wrote:By "Steamrolling" I mean roughly 6 Black Dragons, all [I]-Y- tagged. It was about 15 minutes ago, maybe still going on; I was in Omega-7 in group chat with the CR folks in 23, and couldn't do anything, but between the chat list and their reports, it was a Yakuza ganksquad.
edit: And apologies, I've always considered 23 to be a bit far out from Kusari, disregard that bit. I'm also fine with the 1-3 man piracy squads. It's just when Panzeresque raids are conducted that my eyebrows lift.
Now I'm not really sure if you personally call us out for a ganksquad or that is what you heard from your pals. But regardless. Let me counter words with evidence:
Please take a look at the bottom left corner (the player list scanner). Try to get a general estimation between how many Hogosha you see there and how many =CR= you see there. Oh you saw that Molly by the way? Yep that's right he helped the CR.
Later towards the battle once about =CR=Baal[44th] came in. The Solaris Turret mounted Carrier plus =CR= reinforcements plus three Pilots of the SMP attacked us as well.
(This can be confirmed by =CR=Panzer - note: it was not =CR=Panzer who ordered them to attack, he was actually trying to keep the whole fight balanced and I respect him for that.)

I don't know about you, but to me that seems a -little- strange for a group supposedly desperate to hide their unlawful activities.
Yes you are right, the Hogosha are supposed to be slick bastards. But you know we can't always hide our unlawful activities. If someone really wanted to sabotage our Faction, they would make some camera ships and just sit there and spy on us, the minute we encounter a trader they record the whole thing and send it to the Kusari Government.
It is. Literally. Impossible to hide every criminal activity being conducted. But. In-roleplay excuses always exist, and can be utilized.
That trader blowing up? "Well Officer, he attacked me you see. Me asking for credits? Nah I assume he asked me if I wanted and I just repeated the question. Hehe."
"We performing a strike at Tau-23? We were just chasing a Cardamine smuggler doing our duty for Kusari as good citizens that we are. Somehow a few misunderstandings occurred and next thing you know everybody is trying to save their own skin."
----
But you know what? In the end. Panzer had fun. We got some kudos. "Nice fighting it was fun, hopefully we can do it next time. Sure I died but who cares, it's a game."
Nah of course not. This is the Yakuza. This is "Sina's Gang" right? An attack by them? God heavens they are pvp-whoring griefers who can't Role-Play at all. They ruin it for everyone in Kusari!
Really? Ok. Go ahead. Go ask the leaders of Samura/Kishiro/KNF/GC and Kiretsu to name a few. See how they will tell you how much we actively hunt them down and make fun of their deaths. And gank them and only commit one-liners before we fire all our guns.
I mean surely if what you say is true? These people, who constantly interact with us must also agree with you right?
