[color=#FEEACC] Bonjour mon amis, salute General,
It is with pride that I speak before you today, for we have done our people proud. But, let me start from the beginning. I personally, was getting some rack time when the General called for us. A word has come of a Gallic Royal Navy wing assembling near Dijon Station. It didn't take us long to mount up and get our birds in the air.
The approach to Dijon seemed to last a lifetime, much like always when you know you'll be facing a GRN wing. Not because they are skilled pilots, but because you can expect for them to keep bringing reinforcements minute after minute. Worse than cockroaches I tell you. But forgive me, it is against me to insult anyone.
We saw, we fought, and we conquered... To some extent at least. Madam Nicole was on fire, and I mean both literally and symbolically. She took two of them down, before taking a few critical hits herself. Wing Leader Boucher was respectful and careful, but his tactical decisions were flawless. However, as some of them went down, more of them showed up. They came like on an assembly line.
In the end we were forced to retreat, sadly. But another victory for us, and yet another time that we show the Royalists that we win because we fight for something, for someone, not for vengeance, at least not only for that.
