Name: Enain Mundi Age: 22 Gender: Male Origin: "Heron" CT-53 class transport, Liberty space Citizenship: Unknown Biography: Born aboard transport in Liberty territory. Father Nico (Rheinlander), injured ex-navy pilot, now an independent trader and mother Emi (Kusari), lovely ship technician/engineer, were always on the road. His fathers ship "Heron" became his home. Strict father taught him discipline and military tactics that may come in handy in the future and loving mother taught him all about maintaining a ship so one day he could become his fathers successor. At the age of 8 his father made a "life-changing" deal that could allow them to finally settle down. Despite his fathers prudence they were deceived. In attempt to escape his father was killed and Enain alongside his mother, who was badly injured, captured and sold to Outcasts as slaves. Without proper treatment his mother died within few days, leaving him an orphan. On that day he swore to trace and kill the one responsible for his parents deaths.
Clinging to this goal and teachings of his parents he was able to survive 8 years as an Outcast slave. It wasn't easy, he was distrustful and opportunistic and therefore often forced to fend off angry kids he took advantage of. It was either him or them. Even though he took a bunch of beatings all it did was strenghten him, both in body and soul. At the age of 16 he was transported along with other slaves to unknown location when the convoy ran into police patrol. Outcasts not willing to part with their slaves opened fire on the patrol and tried to escape. Patrol had no other choice but to destroy the pirates. In all the chaos after the transport was rendered immobile and crippled to the brink of destruction slaves were able to escape their holding cells. Enain among them, with basic knowledge of ship design, headed towards potential location of cargo bay escape pods. Others not trusting him went the other way, leaving him the only one to reach the pods and use one. As his escape pod was moving away from the transport he was helplessly watching the hull crumble followed by a huge explosion caused by ion engines smashing ships thruster fuel tanks. In the last flash of light from the explosion he saw the blue Liberty star on one of the patrol ships, then lost conscience when the pod was hit by a huge hull part from the destroyed transport.
After waking up, he found himself lying in a comfortable bed. With his wounds bandaged he was completely puzzled thinking he's still dreaming. There was some water and synth paste by the bed which he immediately ate. Feeling very weak but safe he returned to figuring out where he is and what happened. In a few minutes a man entered his room telling him he shouldn't get up yet and rest, he was a trader. Then he explained how he bumped into his escape pod drifting in space and dragged it in thinking he could sell it on the nearest base. He was very surprised when he found Enain inside, alive, but unconscious.
Enain was recovering fast. After a few days he was full of energy and started fixing some minor flaws in the ships subsystems. The trader saw he was good at it so he let him repair some major problems. He was always asking questions about trading and various ships they were passing by. During one year the trader has shown him many new things and much of the known Sirius space and Enain tuned the ship to its limits. When there wasn't much more trader could show him, he decided to send him to his nephew on Planet Erie who owned a ship repair shop. It wasn't easy to let him go, but it was the right thing to do.
Enain started to work hard at the repair shop and learned much more about ships. Three years later, at the age of 20 he had enough credits to buy his own freighter "CTE FR-2302-K" and started trading. Things were going slow at first, dangerous routes and small cargo bay didn't help much, but eventually he earned enough to buy bigger freighter, "Camara". Hauling more dangerous commodities, trading more efficiently he gained even more wealth, bought "Albatross" and encountered the limitations of being independent. Then he saw some traders from USI and thought to himself: "Why not become a part of something bigger?"
