New trend concerning factions (official and unofficial) and activity

I personally say that if someone see's a faction go inactive, someone in or out of that faction should step up to increase it's activity. It's sad to let an official faction go to waste.

I've done that... before... sounds like a nice thing to do, but in the end no point in flying around with a faction tag if you always fly alone. Plus why extend a factions slow and inevitable death if someone has a new and interesting idea that could be better. Why not let that group have the opportunity to do it better.

The only thing the one faction per ID rule did was create this "you should just join [insert offical faction name here]" line of thinking which is utter nonsense.
