' Wrote:Hessians having a BS in the first place is farfetched. Their certainly the largest criminal organisation after the Sairs and Casts, but they do not possess their own planets, and although their miners, their first and foremost politically oriented as the rest of rheinland unlawfuls. Their not marauders who just pillage.
Their main funding, which i presume is blood diamonds, arent widespread enough to fund the construction of a jorm fleet. At most that faction should only have ONE JORM and that should belong to the official faction of the Red Hessiand NPC group.
From a roleplay perspective, there is nothing that supports the hessians of being capable of producing overpowered ships.
While infact, Corsairs has been rumored to be the best ship builders in Sirius since the days of vanilla. So may i ask you, before you make yet another "buff ships belonging to corsair enemies" thread, do you have any valid excuse what so ever for such a upgrade to happen inRP?
The largest threat to the Red Hessians is the Rheinland Military, the Corsairs are more like their hated rivals on the black market and even from a lore perspective, the main objective of the Red Hessians is changing the political situation in RHEINLAND. Thus the jorm should be balanced to fight the RM Turtle. In which it should be quite potent given its ability to perform as a heavily buffed Siege Cruiser.
If anything, the hessians has nothing that can or should be buffed, they got THE best cruiser missile ingame coupled with one of the best cruisers avaliable. A strong VHF and a potent fighter weapon. Their Capital turrets are also quite good, in the end the Red Hessian faction is not a house not even close to being a demi-house as the Corsairs and Outcasts is. They do not possess ingame resources enough to actually compete with either faction.
Infact, the Red Hessians are somewhat comparable to the CR of 4.85;
In a face of a full blown war with the Corsair empire, they would not stand a chance, and the only way the Red Hessian faction can become a threat is by exploiting and putting pressure on the Corsairs, who is determined to continue their war with the Outcasts.
If either the Outcast or the Corsairs decided to wipe their menacing enemies off the map, they would be completely capable of it, inRP and OORP wise given their large playerbase.
Bottom line is; Stop overestimating the power of your beloved faction and realize the fact that Corsairs and Outcasts are BOTH one half of a house. There is no single unlawful faction that can stand up to either of those two on their own. Be it Hessians, Mollies, Dragons, nomads, SCRA or the Order.
To "beat" anything on disco, you need a lore that can make it feasible. No faction beside the house militaries themselves has any remote chance of beating the Corsairs in a full blown war were both sides are fully dedicated to annihalate the other side.
Mmh. What's going on here?
Red hessians can't have caps due to vanilla lore? Ok, but you have quite a few faction to remove the caps from before you get to hessians. I don't think there are enough zoners in vanilla to even crew a BS, let alone buy/make one.
Calling sairs/outcasts 'demi houses' off their lore is disingeuous. It's not like there are 1.5bn of each, or even anything like that (enthusiastic infocard rewrites being ignored, that is).
In fact pretty sure the hessians outnumber the corsairs, at least in the omegas. They're presented as worse pilots, but extremely numerous.
And they're 'winning' the omega war in 801 I believe.
Also even by then hessians are portrayed as shifting beyond/away from political/rheinland concerns and more towards omega/piracy business.
I think you are being a teeny bit guilty of what you are accusing blodo of
