There is a note on my pod's (6 rooms that share a bathroom and kitchenette on my floor at my uni hall of residence) toilet. The note asks the boys (Mark and I) to put the toilet seat down after use. Being a gentleman, I always accommodate for the ladies. So I assume it's Mark. He practically admitted to it (although without saying "it was me") and there was no further discussion.

Now here's the scary part:

I entered the bathroom and saw one of the Chinese exchange students washing her hands. I said hi and walked into the toilet cubicle. The seat was up.

Four possibilities:
She was being nice to the boys.
She misread the sign and put the seat up by mistake.
Chinese girls pee with the seat up somehow.
She has a penis.

So, should I be triumphant in my knowledge that it was in fact the girls leaving the seat up? Or slightly disturbed that there is a man in my pod that I didn't know about?

Help me Floodbook!
