Emily sat on the damp, cold bench. The rain slowly hit Emily's wet hair, and began running down her forehead. The rain soaked her thick purple jumper and her jeans, she lowered her head cupping her face with her hands. Some of the rain drops mixed with the tear which ran down her face. A few peopled walked past, not noticing Emily's wet cloths, and body. She shivered in coldness, but didn't move, she sat lifeless, and alone.
"Hey there stranger" A old, familiar voice came from in-front of Emily. Emily quickly wiped the tears from her cheek before looking up. There stood a familiar face, one which Emily never thought too see again, one which she wish she had met him in a better memory.
"Hey Venge" She said softly, he smiled a little, and sat down, he wore a leather jacket which was covered
in rain. His hair was wet which meant it was almost covering his dark brown eyes.
"I think we're through with the code-names, call me Simon" The man said, stretching his arms across the back of the bench. Emily smiled a little.
"Yet again another bad memory which I want to forget" Emily said, removing her hands, and leaning back on the bench. Simon sighed.
"Yeah.." Simon replied, looking at Emily, as the rain gently poured down on her face. After a few more seconds he continued.
"There are always moments, well, events in our case which we always wish we could just press 'delete' and never think about ever again" Simon added, wiping a rain drop which ran slowly down his forehead.
Emily nodded slowly, sniffing quietly.
"Hm, I've heard about Morgan, I'm sorry. He seemed like a nice guy, weird, but a nice guy" Simon said, attempting to comfort Emily. She nodded again.
"Yeah.. he was" Simon nodded slowly, still looking at Emily.
"Hm, look, if you don't want to talk about it, then I'm good with it" Simon said. Emily looked at him trying to smile at him.
"Heh, my life is so messed up" Emily said shaking her head, her wet hair gently slapped against her cheeks. Simon moved up the bench, and put his arms around her.
"Hey, it's going the be alright, one day or the other, it's going to get better. Your getting married, your pregnant, it's all going to be great for you" Simon said, holding her tightly. Emily looked up at him, in bracing Simon's warmth, she looked deep into his dark brown eyes, as he looked back, Emily's neck moved closer to his head, both of them moved closer, and closer untill both there lips were touching. Simon moved away a bit, and looked at Emily.
"Err, look Em' your confused.." Simon said, not really knowing what to say, though after a few more seconds, his neck went back down to meet her lips again, both of them cuddled together too keep warmth, while their lips touched. Again Simon backed away.
"Em', I'm into you, but your getting married, your pregnant.." Simon said, disappointed.
Emily nodded.
"Yeah..sorry.." Emily said, lowering her head. Simon noticed how uncomfortable Emily was.
"Alright, you want to get a drink. ?" Simon asked. Trying to break the ice. Emily shook her head.
"No..No.. I should be getting home" Emily said, standing up, rubbing her arms. Simon's eyes followed her.
"Thanks for the talk, Simon" Emily added. Simon nodded, staying seated. He watched her walk off into the rain. He sighed, stood, and walked into the rain, in the opposite direction.
