' Wrote:The tricky part is the colors. In order to show overlapping ZOI you have to use two or three colors on the outer ring. You are already using a two-tone color for Gallia so that has to be changed. Also you are using a single color for "Hispania" which doesn't work for Outcast vs Corsair ZOI, they are different but overlapping in a couple of places.
My suggestion for colors:
Liberty -- Dark Blue
Bretonia -- Brown
Rheinland -- Green
Kusari -- Purple
Gallia -- Light Blue
Outcast -- Orange
Corsairs -- Yellow
The other colors are alright
For example, Manchester is under the influence of Bretonia, Outcasts and Corsairs, so you would split the outer ring three ways and color it Brown, Orange and Yellow.
Manchester is under the control of Bretonia. Not outcasts, not corsairs. NPC presence has no indication of control. There's a difference between zone of influence and zone of interest, and this system is definitely the latter for those two factions.
Re: Wiki is being incorrect;
It's not. It is only out of date and has not been updated to include the new systems of 4.86. Otherwise, its system classification is fine.
The only discrepancy in the official 4.86 map is calling Orkney a Bretonian system, when it should really be a Border World. Bear in mind that House pirate guard systems are classified as house systems... usually.
