Map being small can be fixed by re-scaling it. If it takes 2 hours to walk from one side to the other in the same map, it doesn't matter if it looks smaller in the lore. Daggerfall's map was huge but travelling was very easy with pre-opened auto-travel map.
I want a new engine but first of all;
- I want a convincing world (no end of the world battle with 10 guys)
- I want a living world (only the mods gave this feeling to Oblivion)
- I want proper role playing world (Morrowind >>>>> Oblivion)
- I want DIFFERENT dungeon designs (Morrowind >>>>> x10 >>>> Oblivion)
- I want Assassination, thievery missions (Tribunal > Oblivion > Morrwind >>> Oblivion)
- I want changing world like building a city or taking it down (Blood Moon > Oblivion)
- I want more than one main quest merging (Daggerfall >> Oblivion)
- I want levitation (Daggerfall, Morrowind >>>>> Oblivion)
