This is Enforcer Jack Payton. I believe I have a terrible news for you. Recently I reported that we were forced to cease heavy gunboat patrols in the Cortez and Magellan systems. Two days ago we used two of our light gunships and one bomber to scout these systems. Our battle wing was ambushed by five gunboats supported by two cruisers belonging to Lane Hackers and Liberty Rogues. We've lost one gunship and I barely got out alive. It looks like that conflict in these independent systems is aggravating.



Fortunately Colonial Government payed us all outstanding bounties on Outcasts and we were able to put our fleet back in shape. Yesterday we resumed our normal operations in these systems. In Magellan our forces intercepted two Lane Hacker bombers and one gunship actively pirating a lane to California jumpgate. One gunship and bomber were destroyed.



Later on our patrol was ambushed in Magellan by two Lane Hacker bombers and Outcast gunboat. After we destroyed one bomber rest of pirates decided to run.

After this encounter we moved our operations to Cortez where we intercepted known Liberty Rogue gunboat as well as one Outcast bomber and gunboat.




Also today my partner Walter Sobchak while performing escort mission intercepted and destroyed known pirate bomber awaiting his prey near Leeds jumphole in Magellan.
