The Communication/ Radar Officer was looking in to his monitor very closely and reported any changes.

[color=#FF0000]" Sir we have new contacts on scope oh my 30 Sabres, 10 Bombers and a handful of Gunboats sir moving to intercept course sir"

Captain Dimitrov was calmly looking at his radar hud over viewing the situation.

" Send the 23rd after the Bombers 45th is clear to engage and destroy the sabers along with the 6th wing ."

The Communication officer noded and transmitted the Orders on the Radar hud the Omaha was clearly doing damage out there Dimitrov Looked at the hud and Ordered.

" Batteries echo five and echo six are to cover the Omaha ! "

" It seems this is going by the book we are crashing their fighters and gunboats." the XO talked to georgi

" Well its best we stayed on our guard ." Dimitrov answered him.

Then the power weapons engines went down in short the Pacific was a flying brick drifting. It became dark for a second but when the emergency power came online. It was like the Pacific plug was pulled off.

" Who the hell forgot to pay the power bill ! " The bridge crew smirked as the XO attempted of making the situation a little lighter. Dimitrov looked at him and by his face he wasn't pleased.

" What the hell happened why is the Power down ? Is the power core hit ? "


" Then what the hell is going on why is my ship out of power ?" Dimitrov asked and you can fell the rage in his voice.

the Computer master.

" Sir we got a Virus it hit our power systems and its moving sir !"

" Were did the Virus came from ? "

" The Base ! " the Master responded.

" Oh really ? " He said curiously and he went to the Master

" Can you kill it ? " Dimitrov asked

" NO sir but I can try and send it back and this way buy us some time before it currups our systems. "

" Do it ! "

And the Computer master started to wage war against Maria programing it was weair looking at the computer master typing with not normal speeds. In the mean time The Nuclear Grizzles were closing in on the Pacific . Wile the fighters tried to stop em all one got managed to get trew. there was 1 minute to the impact. Back on the bridge of the Pacific the Master was winning the hacker war.

"Are you ready I want my ship back in control." Dimitrov was getting pushy.

" Almost sir." the master responded.


40 secs till the Impact with the grizzly

" Done sir"

The Pacific came back online weapons Engines and the Hernandez base defenses powered down leaving a clear way for the Valiant to pick up Matts Team.

But Once the systems cam back online the Radiological Alarm came up.

the Radar officer screamed out.

" INCOMING NUCLEAR ATTACK !!! "

Dimitrov in a hurry.

" EVASIVE MANEUVERS NOW !!"

It was to late the Nuke hit the ship were it hurts at the Power go it was to go critical in a few Minutes.
Dimitrov had no choice it was time to abandon his dream ship and leave it. His heart didn't take it well he was crushed.

" All hands abandon ship I repeat all hands Abandon ship!! "

He declared on the Intercom with his head down. The Bridge crew moved to the escape pods but Only the Commander and the Captain remained on the deck one of the Lieutenants turned back and told the two.

" Commander and Captain shod proceed to the escape pods as well. "

They both noded and the Lieutenant went to his pod.

Dimitrov sited down on his chair and started to think and at the same time looking at a Radar hud .

He sighted and started to think

" So we are here and the Pacific has what 6-7 minutes of life in her left. So this is what I am going to do drive out the Pacific to move to a safe distance tell the fighters to guard the pods and Omaha until the Valiant can come and pick them up by that when the time and heading is right when the Pacific blows up We shod blow as well the crap that we have on us. Sound good eh?

The Xo Noded in agreement.

" So then Better get to your pod."

"Georgi!"

"Yes?"

" I am not going anywhere you are !"

Dimitrov Laughs

" Dont be a jokiest on me now, its not the time."

"Georgi how long do we know each other 1-year and a half. And we know each other pretty well so you know I will not let you go on a one way mission."

"WHAT?!"

" Its my decision to make not yours !"

the Xo sighted and stood up .

" Captain Dimitrov I here by relive you from your command under Naval protocol 6 section 5. "

" You cant do this you just cant !!!"

" Georgi you knew how much I want a command of my own but the Navy didn't give it to me, now I see this an chance to command a ship of my own even though it in my last moment in my life. Jore face it you are 23 years old and life it still way ahead of you and I am just a 54 year old man. So Please. ?"

Dimitrov Looked at him and in that Moment a marine entered and looked over them but keeping his eye on Dimitrov.

Dimitrov Looked at him and Slurred.

" I stand relived Commander you have command god speed."

And Dimitrov and the marine went to go threw the Door when Dimitrov turned around and looked once more at his Old First officer.

"I hope you know what your doing !"

"I do tell my wife and kids that I love them."

"I will!"

And Dimitrov steped out. The computer declared that all pods were launched. So the first officer heat with the Pacific far away from the pods and the Omaha drag in the enemy ships with him. Dimitrov Looked trew the window of the Escape pod and in the far end you can see the Pacific still fighting on its own. Back on the Pacific the first officer was on the Bridge and holding the picture of his wife and kids remembering them and holding it hard. Dimitrov looked at the Pacific and cry ed. When on the Place of the Pacific a Large light flashed blinding everybody. When the Flash was gona in the far end you can only see fire flames and tiny dots that seems to be debris. But Back on the Valiant Matt looked at his watch and noted the time, the 10minutes were up and the base detonated

He aproched the window when the Pacific was about to explode he was holding Angelina as well she saw the explosion Angelina cry ed out and Screamed a big no. Matt didn't believe it that they Lost the Pacific and just few hours ago he was on that ship. Angelina Matt the Crew of the Omaha Valiant and the Escape pods Figured Dimitrov was dead that he drove the Pacific far away and destroyed its enemy and did its job. Except one pod that was Keeping Dimitrov and the Marine. The Valiant and Omaha Started the Pick up the Pods from the Pacific Covered by the fighters of the Pacific. Matt hold Angelina hard as she was crying and calling for her brother. By Angelina reaction it would seemed that Georgi was on Important and strong link between the family.

He knew it was up to him now that he had to keep Angel family together. Matt knew that Angel lost a lot of people her life. Her mother her youngest Brother and now her Big brother. Matt hoped that that crazy fool didn't die.

Over looking the Pacific Debris field Maria was satisfied she didn't get any money but she killed one important man in the Naval Secondary fleet. She turned with Luis with her side and headed to the Humboldt system.
