My guess is these guys didn't have the patience to post SRPs for the actions they intended to take, and use the "we go rogue" excuse to act against their own ID while keeping their ships. Recommend the admins step in on this and set a firm precedent that this simply is not to be.

SRP's are closed, and there is prior precedent for the characters involved having bad blood with the rest of the navy.
But like charos said, they're abandoning the idea.
