Firstly, while I really never wanted it to come to this with you guys, you forced the hands of many people on this. What made me, Stygian, Lou, Doc, and other members of the Zoner factions rather annoyed was the fact that we are the ones who are responsible for guiding and maintaining Zoner role play. Yet, you were doing your best to cause a major shift in Zoner role play without even bothering to talk to us. Your actions carried consequences for indy Zoners as well as our factions. Some of those consequences never took effect because the people involved chose not to make a big deal out of it.
For example, Liberty. Liberty should have made a big deal about you blowing up some of their cap ships and stationing two Jinkusu in Penn. Your actions were that of a terrorist. Liberty should have made sanctions against Zoners, which would have meant the Zoner factions would have had to do more forumlancer in order to keep their respective factions role play intact.
Now, I can't say that stuff like that isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes stuff like that is good, but it helps to talk to those it will effect before you do it. The problem with what you guys did was there was no discussion and the shear amount of issues you caused would have given us a headache had the non Zoner parties decided to push us on the issues.
I think a big part of this was the fact you were skirting Zoner RP just enough to get by. Zoners are not as aggressive as you play them. Sure we'll throw our economic/political weight around if we have to, but we don't park a fleet of cap ships somewhere and declare war. Especially on groups we'd have no chance of winning against.
There is also the fact that I've yet to see an ORI snub craft. The smallest vessel I've seen you chaps in is a Conference. This makes any PvP oriented role play against you difficult or annoying at best. Your heavy use of Zoner cap ships goes against the role play that has been established by all three Zoner factions along with many indy players. I don't mean having them, I mean in their heavy use. Having them isn't a problem, so long as you use them in the way(s) they were intended for.
As an example I'll point to Cam. Cam's Jinkusu is a pure warship. The role play of the Jinkusu is that of a colony ship or mobile freeport so how is Cam a good example you ask? Simple really. He's established his character and the vessel in role play and has been consistent in it. He is the Guardian of Freeport 11. He doesn't take his ship and go defend Freeport 6, it isn't the role play of the vessel to do that.
I also take issue with your claim to Freeport 11, and thus your role play around it. Cam's character is the supported administrator of Freeport 11. He is supported by all three official factions along with other indy players. I have no problem with someone wanting to role play the admin of a Freeport, so long as it is a freeport someone else isn't already role playing the administrator of.
I'll be very blunt with you. If you want to PvP a ton, which it seems you do, Zoners are not for you. Zoner RP dictates you try to solve issues with a diplomatic tongue before weapons fire. Zoner role play isn't the easiest to grasp either, we all find ourselves trying to figure out how we should act or react to something in role play at times.
