PvP - 1st or 3rd Person View?

3rd person offers a more tactical view. 1st Person really offers no advantage over it. I've seen people who use it to fire fixed weapons (ie forward cannons) but I believe in anything smaller than a cruiser combat is too fast paced to continually swap between views like that.
