The market for the T-shirts will be very limited, I would say only amongst Freelancer fans. If you will use ships from the game, I wonder if they're protected by the copyright laws. Although I am not sure if Microsoft can mess with you, if you print them in Australia or wherever you are.
If you are looking to make some money from this project, I am in doubt. Blank shirts, cost of printing, shipping that will cost money. Considering the size of the market single orders will be most popular. I wish you all the best with the idea.
