When will Sirius discover that Sol is gone?

Well it depends on how many light years Sol and Sirius are apart by. It'll take that much time to know.

Realistically, it's already been seen....some 300 ingame yrs ago.

except they found a new "sirius" or names another thing with the same name what astro guys normally never do.

most logical i think would be that the "sirius sector" is the space around the star sirius.
