First a Border Worlds transport Kyaputen_Ogonotoko bearing unmistakable Golden Chrysanthemum transponder signals was spotted in New Tokyo at Kyushu Jumpgate (1), (2). The captain was surprisingly frank about their intentions. (Communications log).
The vessel soon decided to make a run and docked with Kyushu jumpgate. I followed the ship to Kyushu and then further into the clouds. After a long chase we came to a jump hole, which by the reading on my navigational computer lead us to Hokkaido system. After a another while of flying through thick clouds, we finally came to the ship's destination.
It was a small depot hidden well in the clouds. The transport did not hurry to dock, either by knowing that it is in relative safety from me or because the captain was concerned of possible retaliation from her own sisters for bringing me to their safe haven. She complied with my demands and handed over the pilots they had in hold.
It took me a while to find a way back to Kysuhu, but right after returning, I noticed the shady form of Bretonian gunboat in clouds. Scanners confirmed my visual sighting, it was a Bretonian gunboat with Bowex transponder signal, by the name Superaronn[NL]. (scan data).
The captain claimed it was just looking around looking for location of jumpholes. Strange that a spy would give away their intentions that easily. I could not allow it to leave, so when it jumped to Hokkaido, I followd and opened fire. Luckily I was soon assisted by a secondary fleet pilot haruki. With combined effort and due to haruki-san's antimatter cannon the gunboat soon sustained critical damage.
My ship was damaged significantly during the fight, so i had to return to New Tokyo for repairs and maintenance as soon as possible.
