On today's patrol I was accompanied by Shoi Riyo Kurogane. After meeting in Hiroshima and making a quick check of Kurogane-san's ship systems, we assumed a routine patrol of core systems.
Overall everything was calm for a while. Only thing out of ordinary was relatively high number of hogosha vessels.
After a quite uneventful while we exited a lane in Kyushu to have a closer look on a freelance Kingfisher, by the callsign Dismal.Sparrow. A member of Black dragon society was there as well. It must be noted that weaponry of Kingfisher consisted exclusively of Debilitator pulse guns. Scanner data 1 Scanner data 2
The demeanor of freelancer was rather strange, but I found my suspicions not serious enough, so we continued our patrol.
After a I was contacted my a Universal Shipping transport captain, who informed that their escort has gotten in trouble with Hogosha in Honshu. We left immediately to try and mediate the situation.
We found the group of ships near Yukawa shipyard.
I demanded that all hostilities are put on hold. The conflict didn't become less heated without shots fired, though. Luckily, it was resolved in a rather civilized manner, with Yuki Ayaka challenging Interspace Commerce escort pilot Tammo McIllheney for a duel. Interspace pilot accepted and was defeated soon afterwards in an equal battle.
More details in attached log.
While the duel was underway, we noticed the same Kingfisher exiting lane near us. This time I decided to ask a bit more questions and look up the name of pilot on available databases.
I found out that the name I was told figures as a known alias of some Yoko Mori, which is wanted to testify on murder case on planet Honshu. When I mentioned that name to pilot, she became very nervous and refused to follow us to planet Honshu to clear the situation once and for all.
When Sparrow made an attempts to flee, we had no other choice than to pursue and try to disable the ship.
With help of hogosha, the ship was cornered in New Tokyo. During the chase, the pilot mentioned that she gets paid for each scan of our ships. It is unknown by whom, though.
After more than 20 minutes of chase, the heavy fighter was finally disabled by a direct antimatter hit.
