A new ship type

Those black faces mean the normals are inverted. The model itself is extremely bulky, lacking in detail, and nothing about it rings freelancer at all, on top of which you are using an engine grill texture for wings...

Start over, model it in max, and look at some vanilla ships for inspiration on where to place your details/textures, because as it stands now it's not going to make the cut.

As far as balance specifics go, short answer = no. Long answer = Not going to happen because it'd be way too overpowered against caps. Yes, it's giant size would make it easier to kill, but it's still not going to happen, and you'd be best off trying to make a regular ship type instead.
