The mining system has been changed to increase field recharge by a factor by 5 and total possible reserves by 2. This means that fields will drop more for longer. We might increase this further but we also want to encourage people to find other interesting systems to mine in.
Dublin for example will drop up to around 2 bil credits worth of ore per day. Kansas, Palau and Tremont fields should be viable.
Thanks for your patience while I debugged the new version of flhook. This was a very painful process and we finally have a stable server again. This means we are one significant step in getting ready for 4.86. Did I mention that the player controlled bases are cool. They really are. I'll post an update and video about this soon to answer a lot of the various questions that have been asked.
The data center or rather their upstream network guys have fixed the network problem that I mentioned in the server status thread. Their response to me was expected:
Quote:Hello,
the packet loss appears at the Level3 Hop and at the Lambdanet-Hop, please try to
contact them with your results, we can only do the same because it's outside of
our infrastructure.
Mit freundlichen GrüÃen...etc...etc
For me to successfully contact level3 is similar to trying to get a SRP approved. Meh.
Feel free to ask questions about this post or other server related things. Thanks all. Have fun.
