CAU8 Hegemons are unvalid rethorics because one can mirror them back easy as in a CAU8 Pirate Transport will most likely always win easy against an CAU8 Hegemon.
A Hegemon is not made for fighting, nomatter it has 12 Hardponts. Already agreed upon infact implicite in:
' Wrote:The Hegemon fits that role. That ship is beastly when it comes to combat. And miners aren't about combat. If they want defense, then they have to have escorts.
They put guns on trains during WW2, but those trains couldn't take on an army. Same rule applies here. Economic and Industrial equipment is not meant for combat.
Now natural balance of supply and demand is simply overruled by (your!) "is not meant for"/"its not meant to be". But in Wild West the Miners had the same guns as the Robbers. So you try to decide here whats good for everyone.
Your finger on the Scales sounds like one hell of a Balance concept!
Why not provide something usable for lets say 150million SC and lets see how many Miners will switch to it from theyr Hegemon.
That is Balance!
And regarding you finger on the Scales:
Imagine someone suddenly decides FOR YOU that a snac can only fire once in 120 sec (bcause one soldier should not be able to solo stop/shoot a Train).
