Right, this is my first pilots report and it may not be a very good one as I'm back on duty in about 6 hours, so I apologise if this seems rushed.
Myself, along with Captain Leigh and Captain D'Angelo started off from Omicron Minor toward Liberty via Alaska, we were joined shortly after beginning the journey by Captain McCormick. Avoiding the trade lanes and the patrols, we monitored trade lane traffic for a short while. Finding New York to be unusually quiet, we decided to scout around Pennsylvania. Again, it was very quiet, we passed a couple of miners which was the most life we ran into in Liberty.
We decided to pay a visit to the Nomad structure in Newcastle. Much like Liberty, it was very quiet and the only other pilots we passed were the occasional smuggler.
Once we reached the Nomad structure, we noticed several smaller satellites outside of the shield of the main structure. In an effort to bring down the shield, we destroyed as many of the satellites as we could but one of the satellites was much more resilient than the others and we lacked the firepower to destroy it. Deciding we could not bring down the shield, we decided to hamper the Bretonian research into the Nomad structure by disabling some of the research stations systems. We managed to disable several systems including the weapons, communications and sensors. I have no doubt that they'll be repaired very soon.
After repairing, refuelling and rearming at Freeport 4, we headed back to Omicron Minor where we offloaded the ejected pods of the occasional Bretonian and Liberty patrols that would have given our position away.
I tried to take more images, but the guncam was damaged at some point, I'll try and get it fixed before my next flight.
