Biography:Julian Dance was born on 23 VII 801 A.S. in Williams-Creek Medical Center on Planet Manhattan. He's a first generation Bretonian immigrant. His parents moved to Liberty in 799 A.S., when his father - Gabriel Dance received a lucrative job offer from Ageira Technologies to join the design team responsible for their trademark white boxes. His mother - Helena Dance (née Lewis) opened a small diner near Union Square in 802 A.S., just a bit over a year after her son's birth. In 806 A.S. when Julian was 5 years old his father died in a tragic accident, which left him and his mother devastated. Their family soon fell on harsh times as the small diner became their only source of income. It brough scarce profits and his mother was working long hours to provide for her son after Gabriel's untimely demise. Julian became determined to educate himself to the best of his abilities and to one day be able to provide support for his mother. He went to Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. When he wasn't attending classes or studying he spent his time helping his mother in her diner. After graduating in 819 A.S. and receiving a state scholarship he enrolled into Columbia University where he received his master's degree in logistics and supply chain management in 824 A.S., after passing all his tests with flying colours. Right after finishing his education, Julian and his best friend Lucas Bell started a fairly successful shipping firm which supplies several local businesses on Manhattan. Over the last two years he managed to earn a satisfactory amount of credits and developed great interests in banking, finance and stock market. Recently Julian found an Interspace recruitment brochure while browsing the Neural Net and decided to apply seeing this as a great opportunity to expand his newly formed interests as well as put his already acquired skills to good use.
Why do you want to join Interspace Commerce?:I see this as a chance at a proper career that would allow me to move well beyond just Manhattan's planetside and running a small-time firm. It's an occasion to expand my interests, further develop my character and vastly advance my competence, aptitude and artistry. It's a prospect of a better, brighter future.
Why do you want to join Interspace Commerce?:I've played Discovery on and off for years and I've never had a chance to become a truly active member of this community. I would like to change that. It's my aspiration to finally join an official faction, to meet new people of varying interests and backgrounds, and to work together with them for the betterment of this community and this faction. Maybe even make friends. Wouldn't that be awesome?
Have you ever been sanctioned?:Yes and no. As I already explained via Discord I was technically sanctioned, years ago, but when I explained the situation to the Admins (that's how the Game Masters were known back then) I was immediately acquitted. So I suppose I was never truly sanctioned.
