Quote:Although an internal census by the Zoners estimated the planet population at 420 million people, a recent study found this number to be greatly exaggerate with a more realistic estimate of the planet population being between 500,000 and 800,000 individuals.
That means in lore the Zoner had always thought the population was 500% - 840% more than it actually is, that would be a very moronic human error if that actually happened. It also means while you were looking in a street on planet Gran Canaria, instead of seeing 1 person, the brain instead tells you that 500 peoples are walking about
I am not criticising the change in figures, but i think it should have been better left out and just state the current statistics.
I like the solaris range nerf
I dont like the variation of refire
I dont like codies with MR being instantkilling platform
I dont like current viper effect
I dont like chimmie being even more dangerous than it was before

The MR itself was nerfed, making full 2.00 + MR setups do pretty much exactly the same damage as before. In other words, the mythical Shotgunnable Wraith promised in .87 is still not shotgunnable at full hull, if that's what you're worried about.
Also, just because I can, I have the exact opposite opinion. A full hit with a shotgun takes skill to land, and fairly often you'll still miss one or two projectiles and end up not killing ships that are in fact shotgunnable. What's wrong with a skill-based instakill weapon to make combat more lethal? The only real problem I see is that it's such a.. binary value. Either 0 or 1. Shotgunnable or not shotgunnable.
For example, if the MR wasn't dropped by 2,000 damage, the Guardian would currently be shotgunnable by Lynxes with Excaliburs and Grand Culverins, while Lynxes would not be shotgunnable by Guardians with Excaliburs and Magma Hammers. Stuff like that is a little odd, and given the ships' otherwise similar stats, would likely upset balance.
So i returned to see my storage ships that were on Boavista Station on Omega 50, are now on a freelancer base on Sigam 13 that has the info card of the Boavista Station! And also Omega 50 was a nice system and now i see no information about it,execept on FL Companion that says that omega 50 there is a jump hole to omega 49 but on the omega 49 side there isn't a jump hole to omega 50!!! and funny the NEW orbital station over Gran Canaria is after all Porto Novo ... at least the info card is!! And Gran Canaria was a great green planet that had hundreds of millions of Zoners, Bretonians, Corsairs and a lot of more people and after all, has just a bunch of few people!! oooh wait!! Ice age!! Yes! of course!!!
And ... so many things that in few minutes found that ... why engines?!! Where are the gunboat and cruiser scanners, since i can't have the very expensive bs scanner that cost me a lot of time to manage to get then?
Only one good thing i found ... and is not a new good thing, but a finally once again the omicron theta and sigma 17 are back!!
Now i have to send my full storages ships back to omega 49, and pass then by systems full of rats!! Congratulations for another ... who cares right?
