Interviewer: Welcome to Trader Profiles, I'm Michael Tran. We've got three interviews with up and coming traders today, and as you know, time is money, so let's get down to business.
The screen flashes to a shot of caucasian male in his early thirties. He stands relaxed, dressed in business casual, and holding a helmet under his arm. The camera pans out and the interviewer enters the scene.
Michael Tran: I'm here with Aurelius, who's a fresh face on the trading scene.
Tell me Aurelius, what are you going to bring to the shipping scene?
Aurelius: I'm going to bring a steady hand on the throttle and a whole lot of inquisitiveness.
From what I've seen, there is standard set of trade routes that everyone sticks to. I want to change that.
I'm going to go throughout Sirius, doing research, landing everywhere that I can, and locating new potential routes.
Michael Tran: Why do you want to do this? Because the standard trade routes are boring?
Aurelius: No, not that Michael. (He smiles)
The standard routes are relatively short and have lots of pirates and that makes it exciting. Never mind the high profit margin.
The thing is, there is a market for knowing about the slow and steady trades, the ones that are boring because you're stuck in a trade lane without disruptions for a few systems.
Michael Tran: That sounds boring.
Aurelius: Well, I'm not saying I am going to trade on them for long. It's the finding them that interests me.
Michael Tran: How did you get into shipping?
Aurelius: I was a biochemist on Manhattan working for a small biotech firm. Now, that was as boring as it sounds. (chuckles)
I saved up, borrowed some cash from my father-in-law, quit my job and bought a Starflier to cure that boredom.
I flew that for a bit and worked for the police for a short while. But I knew that shipping was for me.
Michael Tran: How did you know that from your police work?
Aurelius: You're out doing a freelance gig for Liberty Police and you see those big convoys come through, you know, the Universal Shipping ones?
You see those and you chat with their pilots and they're off to the edge of Liberty Space and sometimes further.
That and you hear what kind of coin they are making. Policing was just barely paying my mortgage, feeding my kids, and keeping me stocked with the missiles and shield batteries that you need to freelance those jobs. So, shipping!
Michael Tran: What are you flying these days?
Aurelius: I am flying the X Shuttle, and let me tell you, it is a heck of a lot better than that Rhino I was flying.
I was shipping parts to Freeport 4 in that Rhino for months before I got up the cash for this shuttle.
She's my baby. She turns pretty slow, but she's tough and she has three rear-firing class five turrets and six forward facing guns.
That and the torpedoes and mines and she can handle the adventures that come with the exploring I've got planned.
A few runs of VIPs from Denver to New Tokyo and I'd made my money back.
Michael Tran: Any factions that you want to join?
Aurelius: I've got my trader id and my IFF finally re-calibrated to read Interspace Commerce, so I am hoping to work for the Independents.
I think they'd be interested in my plan. While some investors are willing to back the traditional high-stakes runs, a lot are looking to diversify their portfolios.
They want some low-risk, low-profile runs to provide a modest and steady income, and that's exactly what I will find for them. Pension funds, I believe, are especially interested.
Michael Tran: Why the sudden interest in these lower-risk runs?
Aurelius: I don't know, but things in Sirius have been stable and riding high for a while. Not to commit the Gambler's fallacy, but it seems like it's about time for things to get shaken up.

On the way, word broke at a local bar of war in the hills, so Aggelos went to his town in the mountains only to find it destroyed, no survivors, missing bodies, after which he ran his ship straight at a prison liner in orbit... he and Drathen where captured, on the way Drathen Hacked a lock and a prison mutiny took the bridge, Aggelos using what he had learned confused the other ship into thinking that the situation was resolved leading to the infiltration of a second prison ship by Drathen, under the command of 2 ships Aggelos opened fire on the outgunned gunboats and capital ship, and ran a 3 month campaign against the liberty forces, trying to find the location of where the 'shod Wraith prisons' were. after about 2 years he gave up and in memory of his father changed his last name to Sicarious and formed a small squad group of pilots called the SWRA, and found hundreds of descendant coalition pilots and crew men ready to join the fight , one of which was Aeon of Nova Terra, after the group exceeded 6 members of Capital Cruisers it was renamed the SCRA and the fight stationed out of Omega-49, battles ensued for months, agreeing to work with DJC against RM. Aeon, once just a recruit captured and worked a Nomad battleship. after being impressed Aggelos started training him as a second in command above Drathen. unknowing to him, he was being betrayed by an unknown source, after the combined effort of about half a million men on-world, the construction of the spyglass base-ship was completed. the new mission was: return to earth, find FTL Technology and steal it. but his ship was dismantled, crew missing, and nomads appeared left and right in the omega's. Aeon sent message of relief of duty, and Aggelos blamed the order, and the LN for it suspecting Aeons capturing of the nomad ship was the cause.... after 3 years he has reemerged and has been at work since piloting 'The Domaz' or the freedom and prides himself as an intellectual drunk Nietzschian practitioner of the Marxist Doctrine.

Once in Sirus, the mission was sabotage...after the detonation of the Hispania, a few survivors jumped into pods and Ships, many drifted...died, at the will of these few brave fighters they landed on Nova Terra, or Gran Canaria. 'Sembraco Ofvarato Sicarious' was one of them, who chose solitude until the day came when they could revolt and take the alliance by storm and get the people of the alliance to rebel. many others landed near Terra Nova... and after 500 years the Men to join the SCRA were emerging.

Background:
First son of Erich and Luise Hauptmann - both employees at the local mining operation.
From the age of 15 he started working for the mining company as well, flying an maintaining smaller mining ships and repair tugs.
At the age of 21 he left Dresden after a violent dispute with the company director and joined Rheinwehr at Planet New Berlin. Due to his skills in piloting transport vessels through asteroid fields he was assigned to the 61st transport squadron.
After 20 years of service he retired from active duty and started a carreer as independ trader.
Appendix A: Remarks from superior officers
OLt. Hauptmann is one of our most reliable pilots. He never failed to reach the destination - once only with one working engine left and a hull held together by nothing but good will. Rumors say he always makes it to the end just because he doesn't know how to use an escape pod.
Comrades frequently referred to him as "Stahlochse": a stubborn beast of burden with nerves of steel piloting a flying coffin with his butt under fire.
