OOC: well, the larges ship LD.Inc flies is a Behemoth, but if you want to get one that isn't tagged as LD.Inc, I'm sure we could put it on the 'associate' list /OOC
Kingpin here, wishing you all a good celebration of debauchery, whatever it may be. I'll be unavalable for the next couple of days ona a regular basis, as I'm going to be at Pops' place.

I'm sure Zethis would appreciate the nice sign for his mobile office. They definitely give one the feeling of belonging.
I've also had a few more inquiries about employment with LD.Inc. I have referred them to Kingpin, as I'm not sure if the current business plan requires more staff.
Good work, all.
Shamus.
*ooc* Nice new avatar, Mugen, altho the last was pretty spiffy as well.
Welcome aboard, bud. I'm sure you'll enjoy big biz in Sirius. I know I do. :cool:
I'll be out quite a bit for the next few days. Seems these Trading Etiquette classes I signed up for were more than I bargained for. Meh, who knew that the Rhienlanders wanted a handshake, and the Kusari wanted a bow?
As part of our ongoing feasibility study for the proposed new contract, I recommend that we involve our Associates in the following short-term objectives:
1: All Associates should familiarize themselves immediately with the Edinburgh System, including all entrances and exits, bases, traffic routes, and local political trends. If an Associate is for some reason unwelcome at either Perth Station or the Liner Shetland, he should address the conflict immediately, utilizing whatever missions, baksheesh, or other means necessary;
2: Effective immediately, we should attempt a complete and total blockade of Isley base in Edinburgh. No traffic in or out. No supplies of any kind in or out, especially drugs or weapons. Close attention should be paid to the nearby jump holes to Lewis and Leeds; as they are prime routes for the Gaian terrorists. Any drugs, weapons, or other items confiscated as a result of the blockade are to be considered commission during this exercise, and may be disposed of as the Associate sees fit. The blockade should also serve to improve the Associates standing with the entities mentioned in (1) above;
3: It is highly recommended that our Associates stay clean during this trial run. We do not wish to annoy or risk confrontation with Bretonian Police or Military, the SF, or their hired thugs, the SSO, for the period of this exercise. If contraband is acquired during (2) above, it should be disposed of immediately at the nearest in-system base;
4: At least one warehouse class vessel should be assigned a duty station in Edinburgh during the exercise. All Gaian prisoners will be collected, tallied, and housed there, with proper credit to the Associates who collect the prisoners, for eventual monetary reimbursement. This will allow us to collect accurate data on the blockade, both tactically and financially;
5: If Associates are confronted by any other factions during this exercise as to intentions, either individually or as an Organization, re-direct their questions to myself or Kingpin. It is none of their business at present. You know nothing. You see nothing. You were visiting your Auntie and got lost. Whatever. There are specific parties who will know what you are doing, as they are the potential clients. But, as far as you are concerned, they are all nosy bastards who will have to call for an appointment at LD.Inc Corporate.
Boss, please review and comment, or approve. I suspect we can obtain all the data needed for our study within 5 to 7 days; but the sooner we start the better. Ill need to have the raw data when negotiations resume.
I have received word from CEO Kingpin that we're a "green light" for this fact-finding mission.
Please review carefully the previously proposed outline of Op. "T.R." The operation will continue until we have the "raw data" needed (Gaian prisoner count, quantity of drugs and arms confiscated, etc.).
My office is presently stationed at the Liner Shetland for data collection. Please deliver all "data" there to be tallied and held for disposition. Again, all miscellaneous proceeds confiscated (ship weapons, contraband other than drugs and small arms) will be yours to keep.
Once all raw data has been collected, (I think a full hold will give us a benchmark), the "data" will be disposed of at market, and the proceeds allocated to individual Associates as well.
Gentlemen, if our efforts during this study prove successful and profitable, we will have the basis to propose a long-term contract to the principles; one which may eventually cover larger territories as well.
I expect all Associates to participate. No exceptions. No sick days.
I'm gonna head out to Edinburgh asap to start gathering data. I had to stop off and try a glass of Effin Server In Manhattan. It's the kicks, for sure. I'm gonna be here a few hours. However, the Bmoth and Misfit will both be on station as soon as this full feeling goes down, and the crash wears off.
The B'moth is on station, near Planet Gaia. I went to see what all the hubub was at Isley base. I found a few rocks, pretending to be turrets. I also found a whole lot of rather angry Gaians when I shot the turret off of the rock.
It was sorta fun, kinda like swatting flies. I've got 8 data entries in my cargo hold, for your perusal. They were only carrying water though. More to come.
My Raider is currently parked at the Liner Shetland. I can confirm JackS' findings. After scouting the area Iseley base is being protected by 3 stationary weapons platforms posing as asteroids. Along with 2 to 3 squadrons of startrackers that patrols the areas regularly. They caught me snooping around but I was able to take care of them rather quickly. I was chased back to the Liner Shetland but I was able to take 67 Gaians prisoner. They are now awaiting transfer on board the Shetland.
Note: These Gaian patrols don't carry any kind of contraband to my dismay.
