This is true, but once the econ makes it easier to get don't you think we will see even more of them?

No, not really, considering they get killed by "lolbomber" squads minutes into their appearance.

That, and they get sanctioned.

If anything, we will see more role-players with capital ships, and that may just change the mass ideology that capital ships stole your baby.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

:lol:I see your point, I guess we can only speculate what would really happen in the end. No one can be 100% sure;)

Well, i think this "new" Disco economy is well balanced. I knew another examples of dynamic economy on other Freelancer Server. This kind of economy depends automatically on actually trades ingame, the prices rise up or decrease, if you fly to often one route. So we all can be glad to have stable prices with all commodities. Otherwise you have to explore new Traderoutes all the Time. For example, you could haul VIPS from New London to Farway in the Nomadsystem, this route was very popular, and so, Profit fell very quickly.

Dont whine about this new economy, separate rejoice that we dont have dynamic economy. I just wanna tell you, things could be worse. ;-)

By reading Xorias guideline on trading routes I can pick from a rather large number of in-rp routes for my corporation trader and they will all give me about 20 mil/hour (I believe, I don't actually count it).

I believe the most normal 4.84 routes had something like 20-50 mil per hour depending on whether the route was parked by BHG BCs or pirate swarm at the moment.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One issue that you should keep in mind

If say everyone makes 100 million per hour then people "need" to trade/mine much less, which again gives pirates less targets to pirate and lawfulls to protect.
In the extreme example all interaction will happen only as "pre-planned" stuff.

Trading/Mining ship in space is what keeps things alive. Swarms of ships above Crete/Malta/Manhattan chatting or pvp training before they go to attack someone don't.

So while I don't see a problem with say increasing profits by 20%, you should be careful what you wish for.

That should partially solve out problem. what about 50 % increase in trading and 20% in mining?

Very correct.

Also, the SCRA has an economic suggestion:

Im a new member of the Discovery community. I dont know how economy was last year before 4.85 and .85's latest updates, but I definitely like the economy system how it is now. I would like to see it improved and expanded, not nerfed very hard.

I 100% agree with Magnarot and the majority of the people in this thread.
Something needs to be done.

Another possiblity is that people will play on the chars they want to play on rather than do something they hate doing and be hated by the comunity for it.
