I am Hiro of the once mighty Nakamura clan of Honshu.
My mother was a brothel slave, my father was a Kusari Naval pilot with a dream of having a beautiful life. When the war started he had to fight on the front as the leader of a fighter squad...or thats what I was told...a few years after his death I managed to hack military database and found out he was a covert operations agent. When I grew up enough to leave the Cardamine addicted tramp whom I had to call my mother I joined a small mining company as a miner then later trader, and I made a good living until one day an all in deal was hacked by the GC and thus bankrupting my employer and ruining all of our lives. That was the point where I decided to step on the other side of life and not to be the hunted anymore, but the hunter...
I might not be an experienced fighter but I am reliable, manipulative and I believe by joining the Black Dragon Society will I be able to feel complete and serve my people the best...
We have discussed your situation and decided to give you a chance. However your background raises some questions and you will be watched closely.. Mess this up and I can promise you that you will wish you had never approached us in the first place.
You will be given further instructions privately as to where you are to report to be marked as a Black Dragon and receive your first orders.
My name is Aukane Reshi, as I'm sure you've been told, and I am a simple man, Kumicho. I love my homeland, Izu's dawn as it circles Fuji. I've a wife and soon a child, living comfortably on Shinagawa, and I'd very much like to keep them that way...and for that, I'll need more than one can reasonably expect to gather, flying escort for Kishiro Drones. I've been trained as a pilot, but really little else, and find myself with the options of a pilot, and only those. I love my homeland, truly I do, and I respect the Naval Forces...but I love my wife, as well, and cannot bear to leave her just as we expect our first child. I would consider the police, but I expect I would test out of any domestic department, the farmer's alliance pays well, but I've never been trained to toe the company line quite so well as I'd need.
A friend heard I was looking, and a friend of his spoke to his father, and eventually, I found myself here, accounting for myself. Sir, as my tests and records show, I'm an able pilot, and a loyal man, and I'd be honored for a place in this organization.
The Hand, Chief of The Bureau, the Security Force of the Black dragon Society was in the weekly conference with the Elders - Kumicho Hitomi Ryuu, Saiko Komon - Takata Ran and So-Honbucho - Mazakatu Nagumo......
An organisation as complex as the Black Dragon Society (BDS) relied heavily on close and constant communication in order to operate in the most efficient way and to avoid danger and potential loss of life to its operatives....
Kumicho Ryuu was in The Chair....
...."So then, we come to our last item on the agenda before Any Oher Business, New Applications. What do you have for us Hand?
The Hand, immaculately dressed in a smart business suit, belying his penchant for protracted torture and violence, gazed levelly around at his companions. As usual, his face was inscrutable, but reaching out a freshly manicured finger he gently tapped on a manilla folder in front of him.
"I think we have one. See this data sheet...." He handed out bio-socio profiles on the latest BDS applicant, one Aukane Reshi. "This man is perfect for the Hogosha from a security point of view, he needs employment, but doesn't like the House Corporations or Navy. He's a trained pilot and wants to stay close to Kusari."
"Most attractive to me is that he has a pregnant wife on Shinagawa, so if he should, say, misbehave, we have a suitable..... means of redemption. Therefore I recommend we take him on as Kobun, keep him close to us in New Tokyo and surrounds at first and show him the ropes." The Hand did not mince words if none needed.
The Elders pored briefly over the Application notes, already knowing that The Hand would have made a meticulous investigation before making such a bold recommendation.
Eventually they sat back and nodded silently in agreement. Takata raised his eyebrows at Mazakatu looking for a few words from the Headquarters Chief to formalize their agreement. "Very well, give him the induction, Hand. And make sure in a really friendly way that we will be looking after his wife, eh? I'm sure I can rely on you." said Mazakatu to a curt nod from the Hand. "I'll take care of it."
"Very good" Ryuu smiled. "Any Other Business?.......
Konnichiwa honorable hogosha, my name is Kazuto.Junsuke, born from a low level family, economicaly talking, but very honored one, my father was from the Kusari Navy a samurai full of conduct rules, I could understand his concept of honor but i couldn't get one thing: he didnt saw that all his rules somehow created some problems to reach his goals just like the kusari governemant is having problems due it's burocracy. I never agreed with that and we had always argue about those things, but I'm still honoured and proud specialy being a kusari man, we all should be proud of that, of our superiority towards the others sirians. Since I was young I always tryed to reach my objectives without stuck in burocracy diferently from what my father always told me... follow the rules, but I just cant follow stupid rules. He never understood why i didnt joing the honourable KNF... thats why i never joined them! too honourable for my taste... too much paper work for reach their objectives this is why my family never got a good situation we had some opportunities unlawfully talking but my father never accepted things like that.
Now that he is dead due the Bretonian war, I really want to joing the black dragon and help our kusari citzens specialy on this dark times with the war, blood dragons agression and all those outcasts and GC that kill kusarians without reason. I'm in search of this kind of honor and some proftis and wealth for me, no one can blame me for that... I have the right to enjoy the life too.
those gaijins rape our land with their mega corporations and kusari governement do nothing about it, lets just take all that we can and give nothing back. Non-kusarians should never come to kusari or if they comes it will be in our terms not their, I know that the navy cant do nothing about that, and I know too that most of them would love to send those gaijin back home and this is why i'm here... kusari is for kusari people.

Kazuto Junsuke waits in a small, plain room buried somewhere in the deep, narrow winding passages of Kabukicho Depot. The chair is hard beneath him, and the wait long - but only the chronometer on the wall gives any indication of the time he has spent there.
Steps sound down the passageway. The door swings open and a plain looking man in a dark suit enters. "Konnichiwa" says the man in a low voice, "I am Mazakatu Nagumo, So-Honbucho of the Black Dragons. I have heard you wish to join our ranks, yes?"
Junsuke nods in acknowledgement, "Hai".
"Well I have heard your tale of fierce love for country and a disdain for puritanical and bureaucratic ways, but I must tell you now, this is no joy ride. To become respected amongst your brothers you must fight with honour, and perform your duties as required of you for the good of the organization." Nagumo pauses.
"You see, what's good for us is good for Kusari."
Nagumo produces a datapad from inside of his jacket. Junsuke recognizes the characters on the display as the authorization forms for new Kobun to requisition a ship.
Holding them out, Nagumo says to Junsuke, "If you can swear to live by our ways then you may have a chance to join us. If you will do so here today the Council of Elders will permit you to join our organization. Only then may you requisition your Black Dragon fighter or Raba transport."

Junsuke stop and think for a brief moment....
Hai, I swear to follow the words of Kumicho and the Elders since the honor is our way of living. For sure I'll not let my brothers down no matter what happens and I'm relieved since now I feel that I can really help the Kusari people and still achieve a wealth life.

Do not fail us, Kobun."
"Please contact me privately (//pm) when you have chosen your ship, and if you need information regarding our Delta frequency and S.K.Y.P.E. communications."
"Sayonara."

We have long worked together, as I'm sure you already know. First with my long career at Samura and later with the Farmers Alliance in recent months. I have felt as though I had great success assisting them in their mission, but it seems that times have somewhat changed.
Kusari has recently come under even greater threats than foreign business, not to mention the AFA is doing a wonderful job at stopping that. No, I am talking about those strange nomad-like ships we've been seeing lately and, more importantly, the Junkers who have been pushing in from the south.
I spoke recently with my good friend Kiyoshi Sato, who I'm sure you know from his various connections in the Hogosha. He suggested that I join your wonderful organization and help to protect Kusari against these new threats. I have also heard of an ally of your groups called the Order who are working on the former threat while you stop the latter. I would very much like to speak with them, as well.
I will soon make my way to your station in New Tokyo. I do hope you would accept me into your ranks.
