- If a pirate threatens to blow you up, and you're carrying toxic waste, what would you do? I would jettison my waste on his ship and watch it deteriorate..

- Tell us about your previous experiences? Experiences? I just try to get a job at ALG?

- Why would you want to join ALG Waste Disposal? I was born and raised on Planet Stuttgart near a farm my father owned. Sadly my Mother passed a few months after my birth. My father owns 100 acres of land mostly cattle in which he sold high quality meat. After 13 years working with my father since I was the age of 10 he gave me a choice, he sat me down and said "Son you have a tough decision to make. I am giving you the choice to take over my farm or go out and make a name for yourself." I loved my father but his farm never sparked my true dreams. My true dreams was to travel, explore, everything I've read about in adverts to join the space pilot program. My father smiled at me after I told him this, he pulled out a credit chip and said "Here" he tossed the chip over to me "That there is 30,000 Credits, go to the shipyard and buy a ship." I smiled "Now get going." he said, "Get out there and be the man you've always wanted to be." I looked to him with a bit of confusion within me. "And that is the reason why I am applying to ALG, to explore the worlds and to support Rheinland. Be a environmental cleaner to keep space clean."


- If a pirate threatens to blow you up, and you're carrying toxic waste, what would you do? Depends what my location is, If I would be outside of any house space or outside of the range of any officer I would dump it and try to safe my ship. Because that is my income. At least if negotiations do not work, otherwise I try to solve it on a civil way.

- What is your full name? Hal Gored

- Place of birth? Elbich Mining Facility

- Tell us about your previous experiences? You may wonder why I was born in a mining facility. The answer is, my mother and father were en-route to New Berlin from the Cambridge system to pay visit to a delivery doctor due to complications with my birth. However, there was a piracy threat announcement in Omega 7 system so the passenger liner docked at the nearest base for safety reasons. This happened to be Elbich Mining facility. As I was saying, there were some complications when I was but a fetus. At this time, my mother was 7 months along but due to these complications, I was scheduled for an early delivery. The doctors at Elbich Mining Facility decided that it was less risky if my parents opted for preterm birth within Elbich and hence I was born.
My father was an environmental engineer and activist for Bretonia. Therefore, he taught me a great deal about toxic substances and what we can do to reduce the threat these substances pose to our societies. I attended the Cambridge university and graduated with a degree in environmental engineering as well, just like my father.

- Why would you want to join ALG Waste Disposal? I was raised in Cambridge and as I mentioned before, my father was an environmental activist as well as an environmental engineer working for Bretonia. He had several contacts at ALG and was frequently holding meetings with ALG representatives to offer clean-up contracts paid for by the Bretonian government. There he made a good friend who frequently came to visit our house and told me many tales of the adventures of transportation and mining. From that day, I had decided that I would join ALG and work to clean up the mess we have been creating in our homes and neighborhoods.

- If a pirate threatens to blow you up, and you're carrying toxic waste, what would you do? There are so many branches to this answer. First, I'd ask myself these questions: What is the pirate's offensive and defensive capabilities and how do they compare to mine. What and where is the nearest base and how long will it take for me to get there with thrusting power? Are there any local authorities I can contact?
Assuming that there is no base nearby and the pirate can carry out his/her threat, I'd try to negotiate and tell him/her that if s/he blows me up, all this toxic waste will be spilled right in his/her neighborhood and it would only harm everyone including pirates. If the pirate doesn't listen, I'd ask him/her what would it take for him/her to not kill me. If s/he makes a reasonable demand, thank my stars and move along to dock at a nearby base and contact any legal authorities. If his/her demands are unreasonable, I'd try to bargain with him/her to bring down the demands to a more reasonable price. If s/he doesn't listen and the price is too high for me, I'd try to escape by thrusting and steering all my turrets towards his/her ship. Because I'm carrying toxic waste, I'd dump this cargo inside pressurized and secured containers first in a somewhat isolated spot so that any toxic waste does not spill into a trafficked area in case my ship decides to explode. If all seems bleak and the ship destruction is imminent, I'd get in my escape pod and set it to the nearest friendly facility.

What an incredibly tale you've submitted. I must admit, I would not have questioned the fact that you were born on a rather remote station further - it's unusual, certainly, but not unheard of.
Still, I'm glad you entertained us with this fascinating background story. We really do not require this sort of information, but I'm glad I got to read it!
Your education seems nothing less than perfect for a career in ALG. In fact, with your background, perhaps we could shift you into R&D immediately if you're interested?

- Tell us about your previous experiences? I have always been bad with people, I grew up with no social skills which eventually led me being diagnosed with depression. As soon as I was old enough to leave Planet New Berlin, I borrowed my fathers freighter and went my way trading goods until I could afford my own transport. Since then I have been transporting various goods to various regions of Sirius.

- Why would you want to join ALG Waste Disposal? I want to join ALG Waste Disposal because times have become pretty rough in the trading world, the number of pirates have skyrocketed and I was left with no choice other than to find an actual job because trading is out of the question now. I chose ALG because it requires the least amount of human interaction which is the way I like things, I mean, who wants to talk to the garbage collector?

- If a pirate threatens to blow you up, and you're carrying toxic waste, what would you do? Question their motives, ask them why they have resorted to pirating, why their bullying other people just to make a living, especially an innocent garbage collector. I'd maybe ask them if their doing it because they come from a poor/homeless family in which case I would give them tips on how they should go about finding an actual job, or asking them whether they have thought about selling their ship in order to gain enough credits to live until they can get that job that they need.

- Tell us about your previous experiences? I was a fisherman for many years, working for the Holstein Fischereiunternehmen. After a massive flooding incident on one of the floating cities, I was laid off and informed to find work elsewhere.

- Why would you want to join ALG Waste Disposal? I wish to join ALG Waste Disposal partially as a stable, comfortable job but also as a means to explore the universe, as trading companies (from what I have been told) sail the many stars. I also hope to make my Rheinland a better place by assisting in the cleanup of hazardous waste fields throughout Sirius.

- If a pirate threatens to blow you up, and you're carrying toxic waste, what would you do? I would make every best attempt to reason with them, offering them compensation in the form of credits. If I cannot find a way to dissuade them from engaging me, I would make every best effort to make it to the nearest safe dock, and failing that, move away from any populated areas to prevent contamination of any stations or ships.
