Initial Biography ; Running Story

Speaking from the standpoint of someone who has only been here for 3 weeks, it appears to me that the Admin team is fundamentally responsible for keeping Discovery on track as the number one FL server out there. Obviously the rest of the players contribute to this. I submit that the players are the engines, and the Admins are the rudder. From what I have seen, Fellow Hoodlum knows how to be an effective rudder, and if sometimes he makes sharp turns, it is because it is better to throw all parties to the decks than to steam straight into an iceberg.

From the standpoint of my life experience, I note that people who lack the strength of their own convictions often react violently to those who do possess strong convictions.

FH certainly has strong convictions about what is good for Discovery, and I am abundantly pleased to have spent the past 3 weeks enjoying the fruits that have sprung from the seeds of his and the other Admins' beliefs about what makes Discovery a strong and vibrant mod.

I look forward to better and better Discovery experiences to come.

Finally, thank you to ALL the Admins, who spend so much time, and suffer so many headaches from, bringing order to the chaotic mess that their fellow players bring to this community. I'm sure you all would prefer to spend your time playing like the rest of us do...thank you for making the sacrifice of your time. It is always appreciated, if not so often expressed.
