Well, I put the energy out there for you. Hardpoint angles is a no-brainer, head-on a marduk can fire all but three of its turrets, i think. And not to mention head-on the Marduk is a very small target. It can turn and strafe faster too. And unlike the Jinkusu, which has to use mortars for a punch, costly and not too difficult to dodge, the Marduk puts out the same amount of damage with salvos which move faster, and have less chance of missing by far.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
' Wrote:Marduk Power Core= 9,000,000
Marduk Recharge per sec= 300,000u/s
Marduk Power Drain per salvo, minutes recharge= 487500
Number of salvos fired per full core =18(.5)
Total damage for whole core: 14175000
Time it takes to recharge: 30 seconds.
Some more stats for you there.
Oh, not to mention the tried-and-tested method which states: Jinkusu is impossible to miss, mortars are dodgable.
marduk is even easier to hit, brainy
but its ok...marduk is a great ship...for transports or maybe some RP.
but if you really want to have a real apocalyptic destruction machine....take the juggie. :yahoo:
Thing is, people say it's bad for the nomad roleplay, since it ain't easy to play it right at first. Why is it okay to have nubs go LN then. How's that different? They're still nubs.
Ss for guns, they're highly overpowered yes. I don't really care if they stay that way. Woulnd't mind to see then put on par with the others either.
