Gentlemen! Today was an excellent display of Legion superiority. Myself, and a few dedicated pilots confronted the mindless filth that is liberty's navy. a rather dim witted junker AI decided to aid the Liberty navy against us, and was the first one to fall:
the next to fall to my gun was the captain of the Liberty gunboat designation-
another upholder taken out by myself:
Mark grant, ever so relentless in unleashing his fury, gunned down a misfortunate fool:
unfortunately, our first loss was in the face of new recruit, Tadao. Luckily, i picked his pod up before he was taken custody by the lawdogs:
after a brief spell where the liberty navy pilot was being ripped apart by our guns, he was finally gunned down by Jacob:
minutes later, an excellently placed supernova shot from Andrew ripped Deus' hull to shred, ejecting his pod which was taken before we could tractor it in and interrogate him later:
one last pilot left, running to seek refuge amidst west point's defences. We would have left him, but Andrew's shrewdness shone like a beam. he egged the pilot to sit still in a false state of security, blasting him the second he saw the chance to do so:
with that, our raid ended, the rest of us returning home. Tadao is in a good state, thankfully and will recover soon enough to fly amidst us once again. Excellent work, Pilots. This is the sort of stuff i want to see- This is what will lead to the Liberty Navy's downfall.

This one's a few days late. Apologies for that, I took a few days R&R. But I'm back at last.
I had headed out from Magellan on a routine patrol, and quickly bumped into Atheus. I helped him shifting some heavy weaponry around. We were contacted by a Junker group looking for a contract in collecting debris, and ith the arrival of Saret, we decided to take a short sortie into Liberty space. As we headed for the Freeport we were joined by the Libertine. It had fast become quite a convoy, with the three Legion fighters, one Hacker Spyglass and three Junker salvagers. We were unchallenged in California, so proceeded immediately into New York.
Surprisingly, we went undetected for quite some time, as we made our way across the system. Sadly, Atheus had to leave and return to Vespucci before any action occurred. It wasn't until we got into the range of the Missouri that Liberty forces finally challenged us, and moved to intercept. I say forces. A single dreadnought was all they could muster. The Libertine charged her weapons arrays as Saret and I ran harrying fire against the Arizona's shields.
It was a close run fight, but in the end the superior accuracy of the Libertines weapons scored a crippling blow, and the Arizona was disabled, with all crew launching their escape pods.
.
No further Liberty vessels challenged us, and we moved freely to Buffalo base for repairs. I must admit to still being on Buffalo. I ran into this quite delectable brunette, and .................... well, I'll be around again.

It's a fine day for the Legion.
Late in the morning today, I decided to take the Haliaetus out to New York to tell the Libertonians about the Ragnarok. I'm guessing the Navy doesn't really like the idea of letting people know about that, but people deserve to know. It's their House, right? Well, just as I finished up with that, the LNS Atlanta apparently opened fire on and nearly killed a member of the Liberty Police for no reason! Now, I'm not one to suppose the police, but blatant murder? Besides, that particular cop seemed decent.
More importantly, he was giving credibility to my story by talking about how he remembers it. Of course, the Navy started to swarm after that, and they were pretty confused, so I figured that it was a perfect time to make a quick strike into the heart of Liberty. I let Commander Atheus know about it, and he called up the Incursus and pulled together a good force. We quickly moved to high orbit of Planet Manhattan and engaged a pair of capital ships, including the Atlanta. The Incursus quickly decimated the LNS Atlanta, which proved to be a Liberty Assault Battlecruiser, and the LNS Fury, a Siege Cruiser.
Gun cam recording failed.
The Incursus then retreated, and our fighters and bombers moved to attack the Libertonian fleet. Joining us were a number of friends and allies, including an Outcast Gunship and several Lane Hackers. Of course, with so many superior pilots, we began quickly mowing down the Libertonians. First to fall was a Liberty Navy Eagle (apparently their own ship building expertise has fallen so low lately that their own ships won't suffice...).
A Navy ace by the name of Logan Willows then made both an entrance and a hasty exit via his escape pod. This guy isn't somehow related to that Admiral or whatever she is of theirs, is he? Meanwhile, a Battlecruiser of some kind showed up at this point and fired on us from under cover of the planetary defenses.
Of course, we lost some as well. Some officer with the LPI somehow managed to shoot down a sympathetic Outcast. We didn't waste time trying to deal with her, of course.
The Gunship managed to shoot down something, too. I'm not exactly sure what this one is, either. It seems that when the Libertonians go crying to their mothers, everyone comes running. I'd say something about illegitimate children if this wasn't an official military report.
We'd had a Navy fighter bugging us for a while by chasing down our Broadswords, so we decided he had become too useful. Have to watch out for that when you wage war against the Legion.
The Mt. Helens was finally taken down at this point, but not by the Legion or its allies - we'd started ignoring it. Its captain actually ran it into Manhattan... I guess being ignored causes suicidal tendencies in some. He should have just committed Sepuku, but I guess he didn't have a sword with him. Ah well.
Another Bounty Hunter! I worked on it for a while, then switched targets when ordered to. I guess my work on it did the trick, though, because the Lord Commander quickly took it down.
Unfortunately, our ally Phate got somewhat careless, and I suffered the consequences. Thankfully, Commander Atheus picked up my escape pod and, after taking down one more enemy, we pulled out. We had inflicted heavy losses while barely taking any ourselves. A tactical and economical victory. Good job, everyone.

More success! A soldier of unknown rank named Taonga Roa and I went to help our friend Phate, who was having problems with the Navy and their cronies out in New York. We originally planned just to pick off a few of the turncoats and head home, but nothing's ever that simple.
When we arrived in New York, we found Phate engaging several civilians. I asked him to pull out so that we could focus on people who actually deserved it, but the Universal Shipping fighters refused to disengage. We did eventually manage to convince them to leave, but by that time there were several Libertonian capital ships in the area. The LNS Cato, a cruiser, charged us, but its captain quickly decided to turn around. A smart move on his part.
Fighter support for the Libertonians did eventually show up, at which point we had five capital ships orbiting Manhattan. Of course, they all attacked us at once. I just can't figure out why a couple Sabres and a Broadsword are worth all that, but it's their loss. Unfortunately, Roa's Sabre fell quickly. I did recover his escape pod, thankfully.
Out of the blue, an Order ship appeared and began to demand that the LSF cease fire and leave us alone. They obviously refused, and he eventually engaged them.
With that nuisance gone, we could finally turn our attention to Julia Wolfe. Unfortunately, she escaped my guns at the last possible moment. We quickly regrouped, and the Cato payed the price for Wolfe's actions.
Some of you might remember the LNS Atlanta from yesterday. Well, apparently Liberty's shipyards work fast, but thanks to my Sabre, they're going to get ot know the Atlanta very well. As a side note, that'll be the first ship I've destroyed since joining the Legion.
After that, of course, they went for us. But they'll have to wake up earlier than that to catch a soldier of the Legion! Unfortunately, they did manage to catch and take down the gunship.
Meanwhile, the High Command should note that the Order pilot Ezekius Reyes asked to talk to one of you. It seems our old friend Jason Moore is somehow involved in some kind of Nomad attack out in the Omicrons. He's waiting on Freeport 4 for you to contact him.

This is rather interesting. For now, i suggest to the Lord Commander and any Legion ship to keep an eye out for this man, he may have something we could use. Refrain from opening up on his ship, and Major, if you manage to communicate with him again, tell him to speak to the Lord Commander via one of our secure diplomatic channels.

Greetings brothers, sisters, friends. I was tired... Tired from that life... I set in room and drunk milk, looked at Galactic news and thought "That is an idea to sit here a bit." So, I was at home just a week, but that was enough. So, today I'm back to space. And... Wander! I wanted to have propaganda day, speak to citizens... But emergency message stopped me. Signal was from New York and my way was to Texas Jump Gate.
There I found a large force of lawful capitals. Sometimes I wanted to run, but that will be coward. Liberty Rogue forces, which was under Ashes Yotaka commanding (soon under Andrew Mort), stood near Badlands.
Information, which was after attack, is lost in my memory. Just remember that soon I got shot in ship's hull and moved in pod to nearest Rogue base. As far as I understood, our force did great work, but they ran. Now I'm in my home again... With milk and Galactic news...

Greetings brethren. I am finally out of the damned hospital and was allowed to fly today... I kept telling them that I didn't imagine the voices but they wouldn't believe me ... finally I had to pull a few strings and I'm finally where I belong ...
:sighs: The day was quite uneventful in total, had some practice with the fresh blood that we've gathered ... as in [HF]-Hammet. Fellar is good when he puts his mind to it, I believe he's a good asset to the Hellfire Legion as long as he keeps training.
Other than that my friends, I had a vision ... a vision of greatness ... which spoke of our power being displayed in the best possible way ... of fear in our enemies' hearts ... :spaces out for a minute: oh yes that and much much more ...
As Second In Command aboard the "Libertine" Spyglass Battleship and as Fleet Admiral in the Hellfire Legion, I am asking for premision for the "Libertine" to undergo a drastic change, and come under the colors of our mighty Legion. The current Commander MacArthur has agreed as long as he still keeps command of the ship, but with me close by it won't be a problem ...
If you approve and as soon as you do the "Libertine" will fly through Liberty space speading word of our greatness under the colors of [HF]-HFB-Libertine ...
That is all I ask from you for today brethren, may the fires of hell follow in your wake ...

Started out as a regular day in the service of the Legion. As in, we got called in to form a swarm by order of Major Tadao.
Anyway, we started off scattered all over the joint, with the RV point above one of the scrap fields in the New York system itself. I finished preparing my Sabre, and launched from Alcatraz in time to meet Hammet in his Sabre at the Ontario hole. We both jumped though, but Hammet hit by a pair of Navy Defender patrols. I dropped back to give him some help, ended up taking out all four of the pricks who were mountin' disrupters, and we both got out of there in time to make it to the party in New York.
We RV'd above the scrap fields near Manhattan with the [HF]-HFB-Libertine under command of Admiral LeBlanc, Major Tadao in his Broadsword, the [HF]-Swooping.Osprey, Mark Grant in his battle-damaged Broadsword, and Jester in his Sabre. Later joining us, was Commander Raisu in his Falchion. Wouldn't fly one of those to save me life, too thin armor.
Anyway, we recieved intelligence that a Liberty Naval Battlecruiser had been sighted. We then begun a short search of the system, starting at above manhattan, moving to Baltimore Shipyards, then finally sighting our target in drydock at Norfolk Shipyards. However, by this time. one of them huge Carriers dropped out of the tradelane right at Norfolk Shipyards, so we pulled back, and started formin' a plan. However, several more fighters, and sub-capitals soon appeared on the side of the corrupt Libertonian Militarized Government.
It was soon decided by us that the LNS-Calypso, the battlecruiser, would go down first to the Broadswords and the Libertine, while us fighters would focus on the Light.Bearer, a Freelancer flying a Kusari-designed Explorer.
However...It didn't exactly end out that way. Battle was joined, and I found my self sitting behind an LSF Pilot called Vixen blastin' away with all I could tryin' to keep her off of Major Tadao. However, Hammet swooped in and blew her ship up with a single pass, after killing his own freelancer Kingfisher target. At this point, the Calypso was just about to go critical--and did so, violently, taking Commander Raisu's paper ship with it.
However, the mighty Libertine couldn't take much more punishment, as it had a massive Carrier, plus a gunboat putting holes in the Spyglass for all they were worth. so with a final broadside, the Libertine retreated back to Vespucci for desperately needed repairs, and we all focuses our attempts on the original targets--Bombers on the Carrier Michigan, fighters on the gunboat Light.Bearer. However, the second freelancer gunboat, one by the name of Ainulindale, decided to take this moment to pick off Hammet, then turn its efforts on Light.Bearer. We didn't like this very much, and proceeded to turn the Ainulindale into such scrap that the Junkers wouldn't take it.
Of course, during all this muck up, the Carrier Michigan decided that Jester in his Sabre would be just the lovely trophy to mount on his mantlepiece, so without a second thought, the Carrier lined up Jester and put paid to his damaged Sabre. Even this wasn't enough for the Carrier, so, moments after Jester was picked up by myself, the Michigan took out Hammet. So now I had three pilots in my hold--Jester, Hammet and Raisu! Fun times.
Eventually, we had our own reinforcements--An Outcast 'Trident' class Gunboat by name of Lee.Evans showed up, dealt MASSIVE damage to the Carrier along with Mark and Major Tadao. Shortly after, the Light.Bearer took a disliking to the Lee.Evans and decided to go teach him how to fly a gunboat properly. Of course, this ended up with poor old Lee sitting in an escape pod bound for Buffalo, but I digress.
Another LSF pilot showed up at this time, and together with the Light.Bearer, decided to put a rather large series of holes in Mark's already scrap-metal Broadsword, so eventually even he was in my party of a hold.
it was just down to me and Major Tadao in his wrecked bomber now, so I shunted half of my repair drones to him in an effort to keep him alive, as I had barely been hit the entire battle, despite my powerplant redlining from firing my weapons so much. I decided that the LSF Guardian pilot simply had to go, as it was strainin' Major Tadao's Broadsword to the limits. However, I was too late to save the Major's ship, and he ejected, and I collected him, too. so now I had pretty much the entire flight wing in my hold, in a Sabre, against a gunboat, a fighter, and a all-but-wreckage Carrier.
Then something surprising happened--The Light.Bearer turned on the LSF pilot, and together, we managed to blow the poor sod up within seconds. I used his explosion as distraction to power my cruise engines and made like a tree and left the area, leaving the irate Michigan to deal with a gloatin' Light.Bearer. I made my way to Buffalo, got the wing rides back to Fort Leniex for replacement ships, set course for Mactan and relaxed in the bar.
All in a days work, eh?
