4.86's custom installer only has one option, to bloom or not to bloom. (If memory serves)
4.85 and previous, that used FLMM, now they did have options like that...
Sorry -- you're right. I was thinking of the last time I installed 4.85 (which was the only time I ever checked the spinning planets option). I didn't realize that the planets stopped spinning when I switched to 4.86.
Hello there. I have been using the realistic lighting mod for a long while now. I took a break in late march and got a new graphics card and such. Came back today and received the new updates for the mod (update 5). Now I go into the game and after flying from newyork to planet denver I was kicked for using the lighting mod, and again after trying again. Now I cant connect at all even without the lighting mod activated.
Manual installation of Realistic Lighting, if it hasn't been posted already.
Code:
1. Download the mod. (Realistic lighting.zip.flmod)
2. Remove ".flmod" from the filename, and extract it to your Discovery folder.
3. Open the lighting.ini in the EXE folder and set it to percent=10 (for example).
4. Rename the lighting.dl_ to lighting.dll
5. Open the dacom.ini and add the line; lighting.dll under [Libraries].
6. Run Freelancer and enjoy.
Edit: Blind poster is blind. Thread bumped anyway for great justice.

How do you know you were kicked due to Realistic Lighting, and not something else?
Uninstall Freelancer/Discovery, and make a clean installation of both. Download and install Update 5; then, install realistic lighting.
