Now I personally have not had much to do with you guys I've heard a lot (sorry for the post earlier folks I really am getting tired of all the flames now) but shouldn't you have checked out the sentient machine lifeform bit with Zapp? I believe this is kinda contradictoy to his carina stories unless in very much mistaken.

Well i didnt mean that as what the id should read word for word. No i havent read that post by Zapp yet, but i will.
You have to understand that "the faction" is one big machine with different parts that have specific purposes.
Obviously Harvesters do just that. Harvest the needed materials.
Other parts might be a Mainframe to control it all, a Factory for building ships and weapons, or a Refinery for processing the harvested materials.
It would even be possible to create repair droids, mission controllers, or other various things that are all a part of the same machine. The RP possibilities are basically endless.

A WHOLE damn lot of flaming, throwing fits, tantrums and what appears to almost a dictation of what and how teh Harvesters should be playing.
Seriously people, this is a FEED BACK topic, not a gripe and whine (like cheese with that) topic.
I am not going to direct any particular comment at any particular person, but hell people, get off your bloody high horse. You dont like the RP, then get out of their way, go hide somewhere, and if anything else, BE nice and simply ASK them to not bother you. What could be more simple than that?
Honestly at this point, I think Scorn should restart the Topic as a TRUE Feedback topic and ask the Admins to lock this one down.

I believe zapps idea was that carina is the first sentient artificial intelligence.
With emotions and all. The idea of there being other sentient artificial intelligences especialy one that has been around long enough to spread itself out like the harveys have is kinda contradictory imo. Im not knocking your rp I have so far found you lot to be rather good.
And yes, others rp stories have a lot to do with yours, remember the rp of the server has to work as a coherent whole.

So I do not speak for them. I think people that want to play robots find the robot planet and tie their story into it so as to make them a part of the universe.
Ah guy the harvester are not really sentience as individual but because of ftgw which brought down the nomad creators and later lost against nomads and went into hiding in a zoner machine.
thats basically all of the back story in a nut shell, so harveys arent sentient except as joined to sentience. Think ai from elsewhere creates harvester cyborgs to be arms and legs to get out of the machine that traps it.
