Kudos to all the Corsairs for a valiant attempt. But the forces of Malta have proven to be superior. Hopefully the Freeport survives and is returned to their rightful owners (why the devs didn't turn FP9 into a destructible I have no idea, would have been fun seeing if it would be destroyed accidentally by the crossfire - and I'm sure it technically could have been done).

Hate the performance or not, pictures like these are what makes it so fun in my opinion. Kudos to everyone for showing up. Did we break 100 simultaneous players in Theta?

Do people genuinely enjoy fights so massive that they make the game server dysfunctional? Lag you both framerate-wise and connection-wise? I couldn't for the life of me shoot other snubs. Missiles were completely random in their behaviour. My framerate catastrophically dropped to cinematic console-tier, and I have a pretty powerful PC. I wonder if the potato laptop users were playing a stop-motion animation?
edit: people say the server crashed, why promote this kind of self-destructive activity is beyond me.

TBH I think its fun to be part of the spectacle and I just love how massive the fight is, even though it was super lagy for me.
How are you guys having so many issues with performance in a 2003 game? The only lag I get is server side lag (where missles don't move, people lag across the screen etc)
