My name is Adler Trumpf and I’m a transporter captain. Since I’m a child I’ve been watching large ship leaving my home planet New Berlin. I always have been fascinated by that. The noise, the vibrations and the sight of those ships were for me my destiny. It was crystal clear that I was to become one of their captains.
I finished university on a Friday and I remember that the day after I bought my first freighter with three other friends. Along them, were Hageland and Isenburg. The freighter was a wreck. I remember it was bound to be scrapped due to a breached hull. We certainly couldn’t repair that at the time. Nor had we the money to do so, nor had we the skills. That freighter just couldn’t leave New Berlin high atmosphere. But this wasn’t enough to discourage us from what destiny had chosen for us. We managed to link two companies on New Berlin. One was producing alloys that the other wanted for his business. By transporting those plain alloys from one point to the other, we successfully started to make benefits. One step at the time, we repaired the ship completely and were looking for new opportunities in Rheinland space. Business grew and we were able to have four Humpbacks quite quickly. Our enterprise needed a name and |CMB| was choosen. The rest of the story is known by Daumann I guess as the corporation bought our company few months later.
Why do you want to work for Daumann?
After the Hessian attack on Bergbau Depot in Koeln, I needed to make a career break. That episode was very hard for me. From the dreaming student on New Berlin to the administrator of a lucrative space station, all of that was destroyed in less that an hour. I just couldn’t restart at the time.
It’s been two years now since I haven’t flown a craft, command a crew or even set foot in space. It’s time to get back to work and face my destiny again. I need a ship and you need professional captains.
Why do you think Daumann should hire you?
Mainly, you already know my experience as a large transporter captain in the ore business. You know you can count on my skills. Moreover, along the years, I’ve made contact all over Sirius, contacts that are still valuable for your corporation. I don’t need any training as I still possess all the required licences and I know how to be profitable very quickly for Daumann.

As I’m sure your database will confirm I’m a New Berliner. I was a studying History when I was a teenager. I wasn’t expecting to become a ship captain at all. It’s just that Alder Trumpf was one of my friend and just couldn’t stop talking about ships and flying all the time. I had to become a captain or I was about to go to the asylum! Quite surprisingly I was very good at it, even if Alder couldn’t admit it. I think he was jealous somehow, but don’t tell him.
After the destruction of the |CMB| station right after you bought our company, I wanted to take revenge on those rotten Hessians. I left cargo ships for combat ones and joined the RNC. I’ve been fighting along the secondary fleet for two years now. All that destruction around me, all the dead and all this wasting didn’t fulfilled my desire of revenge. Maybe two years ago it made sense, but no longer does it today. Not so long ago, I met Trumpf on New Berlin. I hadn’t seen that hairy Rheinlander for two years. I just knew he was on a career break. He told me his intention to get back to Daumann again. It made me think a lot. Few weeks after, I was back in the civilian life again. In my opnion, to construct Rheinland’s economy is more useful than destructing its enemies. I miss my large transporter and my crew members. I did my part for the militaries anyway. It’s time to think long terms again.
Why do you want to work for Daumann?
I need a job now that I’m a civilian again, and where else could I be if not in Daumann. DHC bought |CMB| and that means that Daumann is now my company. You and I both know I’m more than qualified for the job and I’ve heard you are looking for profiles like mine.
Why do you think Daumann should hire you?
Because Daumann wants the best and I want the best for Daumann. My experience as a transporter captain is now completed by a gunboat captain experience. I can lead a convoy, a mining operation or an escort. I’ll be effective and lucrative as soon as I will enter the captain’s deck of a ship. You still have my S.K.Y.P.3 frequencies I guess. Omega 11 is a harsh system. It's no system for old man. It takes some nerves to work over there and it seems you are capable to do so. Short bio: Well, here goes, in 798 when I was 5 years of age I was flown to Planet New Berlin to go to primary school. My father Klaus worked for the Rheinland Police. In 800 his fighter wing intercepted a pirate group enroute to Omega 7 carrying suspicious cargo. He returned about two weeks later but would not tell anyone of the events that took place or why he was gone so long, so he was detained and haven't seen him since. It dawned on me eventually that we may not see him ever again so was time for a more serious job. I found work at Odor Shipyard as a Ship cleaner. In 818 I decided it was time to stop cleaning and start mining towards a better life with the knowledge of the vessels used for mining which i had gained from being around them alot, I thought this to be a natural decision. In 819 I finally had enough to purchase my pride and joy from which i have been living and breathing mining under an independant Daumann flag since.
