If you want to discover the mod without RP and\or interruption - get the Camera ship.

Actually I want anything but a camera ship, because It needs to my characters RP story, bio, and stuff. Oh, and I'm a little bored, this one sounds like a project I had to complete

Actually thought about making a pirate ID char, and shoot my way all throught sirius.
Maybe I can see some nice rp, some nice pew, make some money and sure there will be some epic moments :p

There is no way you will be able to explore the entire mod without a camera ship. You cannot roleplay your way into many restricted areas, such as guard systems, Zone 21, areas held by the Wilde/Nomads, etc, on the basis that you're some philanthropist freelance galactic explorer.

This brings up 2 issues.

1) You're OORP. Inrp, there is no way you'd be able to 'sneak in' to those areas. InRP, there are ships and base defenses around to intercept you. Sneaking in while server population is low has as much merit as a rheinland battleship scooting over to planet manhattan and being all "yay! we have won the war!" Everyone would ignore him, for good reason.

This is especially true if you use a camera ship and then try to pawn it off later as if you had actually flown there in a regular ship.

2) Nobody is going to believe you, OORP or Inrp. Yeah, sure, a lone freelancer managed to map the heart of our enemies' territory, found their jump holes hidden in minefields, and located their top-secret research facilities and shipyards, and got away scot free.

This is the only reason bases like Buffalo can continue to exist. It's so well hidden and remote, the LN can't find it/can't get to it, and the players have to stick to that lore, no matter how many lolwuts come screaming out of the field to rat out its location.
