Admiral, James. I see that i was missed during my trip to the Taus. Before any more strong words about battleships, consequences and fines are used, let me use an old saying that accompanied us from the distant days of Sol.
Let cooler heads prevail.
And so i shall talk to you both as friends, if you can grant me that privilege for a moment.
I can sympathize with the Bretonian Forces Admiralty, because they want one of their systems to be secure and without constant problems.
Something i can relate and feel empathy, since if the same happened within my Freeport, i would also would like to take charge and deal with such problems, head on and fast.
But i am also an Administrator of a Zoner Freeport. Independence and freedom runs in our minds and actions everyday. This situation that we are currently facing is one of many. We have seen such in the past and if this continues, we will see more in the future.
Our freedom and independence is currently hurting Bretonia. Something they can do without, due to the last two consecutive wars, that if nothing, were truly bloody.
I cannot blame the Admiral for trying to secure one of the systems that Bretonia can and without doubt, will use to stay strong against the adversities and challenges they are facing.
And i cannot blame you, James, for trying to uphold the very thing we love in the Confederation of Freeports. Our different ways and our earnest need for independence and freedom.
Empathy, James. Is something we all should share in these dark times were millions are starving, being killed and without the freedom they so want.
Empathy, Admiral. So that the freedom you crave for your people, can be seen in others.
I know that there are rules that were broken, but since my first communication, i have decided to not issue the fines due to the 'big picture' that i see in Bretonia. A big picture the Bretonian Armed Forces go through everyday.
As i see that the Admiral already mentioned a proposal, i will be heading to your headquarters, promptly, James, so that we can discuss it.
As always, Admiral, James,
a pleasure.
Sarah John-Kane,
Administrator,
Freeport One.

"Good evening, Miss John-Kane. Salutations, Mister Church.
Your words are sound, Miss John-Kane. I am content. Let's return to our deal... but before that, I have just a few more requests for the Confederation of Freeports - next time you want to bring vessels larger than gunboats to Freeport One, or any other place within Bretonian territory, ask us first, please. We have agreed, as article five of the Freeport One Collective Security Agreement says, that:"
Another law to quote. Oh, dear. He clears his throat and takes a deep breath.
"The Kingdom of Bretonia recognizes the need for a militia force at Freeport 1 and allows local militia forces to use fighters, bombers and gunboats without needing to inform Bretonia about the number and callsigns of those vessels.
I think One Nephilim class should be enough. Pull back the other two, please. The Omicrons are dangerous space. You might need them there.
I should also remind you of the last section of the Treaty of Betlehem:"
This should be the last one, he hopes. George clears his throat.
"Bretonia agrees to grant a 10 year lease of the 5K space about Freeport 1, and recognize this space as Sovereign Zoner territory during the term of this lease. The amount of said lease will be the sum of 30 million credits per month.
I've heard rumors that you've stopped paying it, but I'm not receiving the money, and I doubt I am directly associated with the ones who are. Just a reminder in case they are true, nothing else.
Farewell now, and good luck!"
As Administrator John-Kane has decided to not issue fines those shall be withdrawn. I do however have to express some concern at this law that you have stated that prevents anyone from imposing consequences on your pilots in case of an emergency. Surely your ships could be better positioned on the warfront instead of harassing vessels outside of the warfront?
Nonetheless, the positioning of your pilots is none of my concern, but I do ask you. What am I to do when your pilots break the law? Surely there must be some form of accountability.
Sincerely, James Church

"I'd be satisfied if you sent me details about the violation, so we can determine who broke the laws and which laws were broken, if any.
Anyways, I think we have dealt with everything this was about. I'd like to close the frequency, if you wouldn't mind? You know hackers these days..."
