The people who created it invested a lot of time in it, and I don't really think that reviving MM is a good idea. MM was always my favorite mercenary faction, and as much as I'd like to see it back and kicking, I wouldn't like to see it being done by someone who put little to no effort and just copy/pasted background while adding a little bit of story to explain what happened with the faction and how it was risen again.
That's True. However, Those people who created it and invested much time in it, Might also want to see it alive and kicking, even if it's revived by someone who just invested little time and used the help of people before him. They might want a successor to accomplish their will.

just 2 cents.
Remember Mandalorians dont care about bloodlines, but about the preservation of their culture. That would mean that even if their leader disappears, someone takes his place and continue the contribution.
Mandos are not bound by the same moral laws are others.
Reviving a faction that was allowed to die by its creators - with an imported name, no less* - is a bad idea. It is extremely unlikely that you will be able to replicate the original atmosphere created by interactions with the faction, and thus it is best to let it rest in honour of its memory.
*This is not to say that it wasn't a good faction, but there's no sense in setting precedents of relaxing the current "no imports" policy.
I'm still around. I was like the pen-ultimate faction leader. When I had to stop playing disco, the faction went to Casero. The circumstances that led to the faction being disbanded aren't 100% clear to me even now.
Having said that, I did spoke to Casero, Dieter and other members. I have a vague idea of why they did it. And I think it's fair to say that they, like me, would want the faction to stay dead. I don't think anything good can come from reviving it.
As others said, it's unlikely that you will be able to re-create the old atmosphere and I we will all be left just with sour memories. Let people remember the faction in a good light. Not to mentioned that it doesn't really fit into today's FL roleplay (being an import and all).
If you like the general Mando idea, feel free to adopt some of the concepts for Faze or a completely new faction. I am here if you have any kind of questions.
Well I am not keen into creating faction, nor leading ones. That's why I asked if there are any interested old MM members willing to do it. I am not a copycat, don't like to steal from other factions. As far as I can see the answer is no. This is not a serious thread so we will just keep on with our disco lives.
