Yea good idea they should be perishable because slaves get less food and are treated badly (in history it was like this) After it depended of the masters of the slaves. Some were nice some other not...

EDIT: Slaves Should stay at 0,5 cargo per unit.. Because they are very skinny due to the lack of food the slavers provides them...

Anyway I don't like talkin' about this... Slavery still exist in Real Life...

Note the " . " Meaning 0.5.
They are worth half a cargo unit, not 5 cargo units.

*Notes he is black and must have an anger-induced view on this subject*

*Ignores the above feeling*

That makes lots of sense. Seriously.

Though I wouldn't say "highly perishable" I'll just say "perishable".

This doesn't make logical sense regarding ZAS, although it could be more exciting. We treat Slave passengers better than ordinary passengers, we provide medical treatment, food and water and don't carry full slave cargoes on our ships, so they aren't crammed in.

So logically speaking, why would they perish as quickly on our vessels as fast as on everyone elses? For the vast majority I do like the idea though.

geez I'd personally treat slaves very well =/...
1. I dont like corpse. Especially not in my cargo hold.
2. People will pay me less for damaged cargo.
3. We have the tech to keep them alive and well.

the real question is, how can slave be purchased from a police base for instance... planet Houston? I'd think they should be sold on pirate base... though thats not the matter being questionned on right now.
