Well, after another uninstall I can confirm two things: the registry shouldn't be the problem because uninstalling clears it, and I can start and enter a vanilla FL server just fine. So this appears to be a Disco-only issue, for me at least. What it is, I have no clue, sadly.
Also: the game does indeed fail to recognize the video card (understandably), but I turned off machine warnings in the options INI, so that shouldn't be causing the crash either. I think a full OS reinstall might be the only thing that fixes this, but that's way too much of a headache for me.

What is the GFX card you have? Has it been updated recently? Go right to the source ( GFX card ) right click goto properties ( click advanced and update the card. After that shut down and then restart. make sure flash is also up to date. That was my headache.
Have you gone into the Software Hardware feed back board, that might be your best solution to this problem. You can't be the only one that has had this issue, good luck.
