AI appearantly beeing generic, change?

What's this? As many told us, as always, best AI's until now were Harvesters, but sadly their Leaders are gone. Together with this, they had a inappropriate Lore, we now have an Artificial Intelligence and the Primary Artificial Intelligence Lore setup, which has the very core of the AI existence on Gammu explained, well at least now it has a solid Lore, with this we could turn the Harvesters into a more appropriate version that everybody would actually like to interact with, but still we suddenly have the opposite opinion.

First people show up "Best were Harvesters" and then when we request it "Noo, booooo Harvester is bad".

But anyway, look at the possibilities, don't look at the name "Harvester" as too Terror spreading word. Using the Knowledge of a species and convert it by force is still "Harvesting". Harvesting the knowledge and currently to be honest the best name for such a routine is the Harvesters, as it is also very AI-Robotic.

Not anymore, the Consensus is over, it's done as in a whole bunch, while the Harvesters seemed to have left a very interesting impression on many people even inRP. Mention Harvesters inRP to some people in the Omicrons and they will remember the glorious times. And as I asked the vets which met them, even though back then not much of RP was done, they liked the interaction with Harvesters, there was nothing bad unless Nomads and Daam K'vosh inside the Lore without approval of K'Hara. Not to mention, the Lore containing such thing looked even too weird aswell as FTGoW wasn't properly implemented and was just an overpowered entity that existed in zero subspace whatever and never died.

But that kind of RP is over, we want to use the name by continuing our current Prime RP and have a full completion and finalizing of the best possible way. Something that would make this way more interesting.

Either way, the AI origin will stay and will be mentioned in the Harvester IFF, it will occur that it has been originated from a former AI society, currently as the Primary AI.

But the term Artificial Intelligence is a very generic one. I mean it's basicly like if you call a Liberty AI, well an AI and automaticly refer to the description "AI". Then you see the Kappa AI's and ask what is the difference? But with the Harvesters we at least would have a completion of this and know what the AI's in Omicron Kappa are called, the Harvesters. Because they harvest all knowledge, it's their programming and they're eager to acquire more and more Knowledge kinda like a huge brain network that keeps growing, but this is all done with the harvesting knowledge of civilizations, as mentioned in the Primary Artificial Intelligence Lore.

What Im just going to say - official faction can get themself Harvester IFF if they want to, but if indie want to fly AI ID + AI IFF ship and RP as neutral, peaceful robot he must be allowed to it. AIs are not clearly told what are they - aggressive or not. So people can decide on this account, but forcing hostile like IFF (though ofc IFF itself is not hostile but if people will consider it as one, neutral player AI can get in trouble) is wrong.
Besides, I dont see any point in having AI ID + Harvester IFF if there wont be AI IFF as same time, cuz why make separate ID and IFF anyway?

P.S. on top of this - Having AI ID and AI IFF and RPing as Bretonian AI is WRONG. Person can have BAF ID and BAF IFF ship and RP as AI that was built by BAF. Its totally legit RP. AI ID/AI IFF ship especially drone/cruiser cannot be outside of Kappa origin, because none of human factions understand AI technology to produce them and control.

@JayDee you don't get it do you, this proposal was made upon the current Primary AI representative, it was proposed by me and the AI Prime told me to go for it and put up a poll.

AI itself is a generic description and no, peaceful AI was Consensus, it's over just for your note JayDee read the history of AI factions. Additionally to that, it's not AI ID and Harvester IFF, the current AI (with all the Technology and Ships and RP done) would completely become the Harvesters as the originated representative of Kappa AI's.

This would mean, that the very Technology and Ships/Guns RP whatever would belong to the proposed IFF, the Harvesters. So we don't have a generic description, but rather a final name that would suit us.

This is completely about the Kappa AI's, not about any other AI around Sirius. Because the Kappa AI's are the only ones that posses such technology currently, others are Human originated.

You can change everything in you player faction and only your faction members can suffer from it, but changes in NPC faction will affect not only Prime or Consensus or other AI faction - it will affect AI indies as well. You have to keep in mind that any changes in NPC faction can harm people who is not bound by your player faction RP/diplomacy, because AIs dont have strict RP lore and basic stuff like enemies, allies, economy and goals.
So picking name that will suit you, as player faction, will be used by indies against their will. Id keep AI as generic so people can be creative on AI RP and not place borders on it, we have players factions for that things.

The current AI doesn't have a real NPC faction, it is just represented by the players. The AI ID itself states "Most AIs descend from Planet Gammu". This still allows to create an origin from anywhere, this automatically causes problems with a solid RP behind tech and instantly drives into lore problems.
We have reworked the AI lore in that way that it's still contains parts that had existed.
I personally don't have any intention to restrict indies in their RP, therefore my suggestion is basically to make the AI ID+AI IFF 100% generic like the Freelancer ID or SRPed like the researcher ID and remove any forced relation to Kappa/Gammu from it.
We, the PRIME introduce an unified AI with shared Rep, shared knowledge, shared goal, shared target from which preferebly should have seperate ID/IFF. I point out my vote does not go to Harvesters.
