That's really a downer. I saw Rogue One last night and fell in love with the movie and was impressed how they put young Leia into the final scene. And now I come home and read about her death. :C

Hell yes.... It was a GREAT surprise to see her back there! I was really impressed in that scene, happy, glad... no words to explain it, and now this... :'(

The first movie I saw in a theater with friends (as opposed to going with my parents) was the original "Star Wars" (now "Star Wars: A New Hope") during its second theatrical release (a few years after the first run). I stopped going to movie theaters in the 1990s until I saw Princess Leia again in last year's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Her death saddens me and reminds me of my own mortality, since she was only six years older than me.
