Stick to RP.

RP Wise, pirates *will* come out of the woodwork for such large amounts.
I'm taking by the countinued posts it hasn't been claimed yet and I can get the Aries & The Aldebaran out on a blood hunt. Very pleasing.
Well unless the player's ID states that they can't take bounties anyone can.
Speaking about RP, it's a pity that everyone seems to have different ideas about what it means to RP.
I've seen players with corsair ID's in outcast destroyers and dreadnoughts. The corsairs and outcasts hate each other, so how can they get one?
I've heard an SF player is intending to use an outcast dreadnought, bit strange that someone with a BAF ID, which means the outcasts should be well into the red, can even goto an outcast base without being attacked.
I think the only way to get out of class ships (such as anyting other than Zoner, order, and Outcast ships for AW) should require an elaborate RP thread to show how they got it.

Dab mate, the AW are not the only mercs on the server. The ID used by the Yakuza, I'm
sure gives them right to take bounties. Its a big one, and I'm sure any self respecting
pirate would be queueing up for that much cash. If you want it ... Come out and say
so. The rest of us are ... I believe even the Phantoms ID states that they can take the
offer of gainful employment.

Basicly like:
" Oh look its a Liberty Battleship thats been abandoned. And the design isn't ancient!"
"Wow isn't that lucky of us."
"Indeed"
"What should we do?"
"Uhhh.. I say we nick it and sell it to the AW randomly because we are Junkers."
"Wow good idea, lets go!"
* The two board the BS using the handly placed "Board Ship" Feature on their ship. *
"Oh gee we are so lucky it happends to work perfectly."
"Ok lets fly this thing to the AW main base in Omicron Theta"
" But theres only two of us!"
" Oh don't worry I've found autopilot feature so we can go raid the bar while it gets us there!"
" Yay!"
* Turns up at Omicron Theta and sells the BS to AW *
"Yay we are rich!"
"Yay!"
" And the Liberty Navy HAVN'T gone balistic at the Junkers for selling their BS to AW insted of telling them!"
"Yay!"
T H E E N D
:P
Oh. BTW: Are death messages enabled on the server?
Cause we could use it to prove it was YOU who killed him or her. Not some otherguy and you were just lucky enough to watch or somthing.
@Dab: Log onto XFire already I want sombody to spam!
In RP, AW and freelance Bounty hunters are the ONLY mercs/bounty hunters. Everyone else when following their faction's RP, not their NPC alignment's RP, are either militaries, or pirates. Maybe Black Squadron's RP can. We need to remember that the Faction's RP is more important than their ID's RP. Both are important, but the Faction itself takes a bit more precedence than the ID in RP. Such as if Liberty and Rheinland are at war, that would be because of the Faction, not the NPC faction.
And Gezza, no, thats not what I would call elaborate. That kind of RP only works with RH ships because of the large debris fields of RH ships. There are no Liberty ship debris fields.
:P Dab 100mill is a hellofalota money. The criminals would be able to build an ENTIRE NEW BS with that. So I'm PRETTY sure they would go bountyhunting. Either a new BS or a big squadren of fighters.. AW MIGHT be the only OFFICAL Merc clan. If the ID lets you then you can I think. Since it IS with what the ID says. Stop trying to kill the competition with RP!
BTW: I know it sucks. I wrote intending that it sucked. :P It's just I think you should regulate who CAN have ships that arn't with the ship restrictions.
Since even IF you DID manage to capture a big bad Rheinland Battleship then you would MAKE SURE sombody high up or competent got it so you didn't lose the damn thing.
@Corsair420 Stealing a ship from the other faction would be HARD, since they would make SURE they wouldn't escape because you could just disassemble them and find out ALL the flaws. Which would happend anyway, I mean, if American troops found some alien stuff ( if it was better then our tech for some of this list.. ) we would get our BEST SCIENTISTS on it to figure out:
A) What it is.
B) Where its from.
C) What it does.
D) If its scrap or it COULD be fixed.
E) IF its usefull if they could replicate it. ( mabye..)
Probably ARE more but I cant be bothered thinking of 'em.
I'm pretty sure that in FL they would do the same.

I think that "elaborate" RP story could use a little work- wait, you mean you're named Corsair and you don't even fly Corsair ships? You do know this is a roleplay server, right?
I think Gezza makes a good point, this bounty is extraordinarily high for the reason I'd assume that Bs| want the whole galaxy after this one. Normally I would agree with Dab that bounty hunting should be left to bounty hunters, but we'd all be fools, in-character and out, to turn down a chance at $100 million credits.
