^This, also it is weird that it basically is a subdivision of a subdivision, I doubt the GRN has enough foreigners to be used to maintain the fleet you have in the first place, the idea of GRN researchers is nice, though.
As stated on many occasions, the RN is not completely made up of foreigners. About 50% are Sirians and the other half is made up of people from Gallia or those of Gallic birth.
We are a Primary Navy unit with a foreign subdivision as well some research facilities of which the 115th oversee.
Liberty Navy have an RD unit although they seem more like glorified soldiers. The 115th will consist purely of research orientated rp, a little bit like the IRG but with a military focus.
Being a foreign legion we are also no strangers to the idea of Sirian conscripts using technology they have brought with them.
R&D unit would be a great asset in helping combine this Sirian technology along with the standard Gallic equipment we use. Who knows we may develop things that are more powerful.
Well, actually, I was going to answer by myself. I want to correct our leader a bit.
We are R&D division not because we want to use sirians and gallic tech's together, no.
We are working on weapons prototypes and other dangerous stuff. If we were independent, the armed forces would simply crush and assimilate us.
Why [RN] then? We have many sirians scientists. Someone was captured, someone came by himself. Their work would be very difficult with the cult of gallic blood in GRN|and Gallia at all. Maybe through the RP we will become an independent faction, may be not, but I would prefer to talk about current situation.
I would say, that we are not under the right command of Foreign Legion at all. We are united by the idea of accessibility for the sirians, but I would prefer to say, that we can be the subdivision of GRN as well. Universality is our main feature.
And to sum up, I want to say, that 115th has own recruitment protocols. I'm trying to create a group with... Only the best of the best in R&D RP or RP at all. If you came just for pew-pew, I'm afraid, that 115th isn't a right place. (Unlike Legion)
We do not have a strict structure. We can't be the R&D division of GRN, because we are open for sirians, but we have many differences with the current [RN] as well.

It was my own decision. It is easier to lead a group within a group than to create it from scratch. Probably, it would be better to did it.
Probably, we will have our own tag one day. But now, actually, I don't see there any RP-problems with it. Our interactions will be similar, without dependencies from our tag and affiliation to [RN] or GRN|
I remember the same situation in gallic wilds, who were the part of kusarian wilds.
